Thank you for writing, and we really hoped we have been given a chance to address these during your visit. It rained a lot during your visit and with the dehumidifier bucket being full and automatically turned off, which needed to be kept on to get rid of the humidity in the air. House water filter needed to be changed, I apologize we should’ve changed prior to your arrival and we’ll keep on top of this for future guests. Not sure about burning candle as that’s discouraged due to safety concerns. Glad you find the house to be filled with everything needed and cozy (yes bedrooms aren’t big and our guests hang around the common areas more). We replace everything throughout the house as often as needed, so thank you for pointing out the wash cloths. I’ve told housekeeping to pay more attention to these and replace them right away. Wish next time there better weather for your visit! Thank you for being our guests:)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. The bedrooms are smaller but work well for good night sleep and we have many common areas to spread out between living rooms and the big wrap around deck, as well as lower patio area. As weather warms up, guests will enjoy the sandy beach (just refilled with fresh sand) and the fishing dock like your family did:) Baths and kitchen were updated and floor/walls being refinished every year. Very glad your family enjoyed the view, making s’mores, fishing, and taking out variety of boats (yes one paddleboat is new replacement of the older one). We are constantly changing for new furnishings. Beds are most important so we always make sure those are comfortable and nice bedding for a good night sleep. I’ll work on replacing the water pressure tank, and make sure water pressure is close to 60psi. Will also ask housekeeping on kitchen sink and floors, those should be very clean just like rest of house you have found very clean. Yes the sauna, pool table and board games have always been highlight of indoor play time. Very happy you enjoyed the trip immensely and hope to have you back again soon. And we will take your comments seriously and improve on them right away.

Dear Shannon, thank you so much taking the time to write about your stay. It could be an one time interruption as we always had strong wifi (with upgraded internet serivce too), but to be sure we will test the Internet speed and fix anything if needed. Thanks again for the input!! Update—The internet company came and advised that because it’s a dual band router, use the 5G band when connecting smart devices to Wifi (not the lower speed band which is “2.4” that’s for older devices, although both bands will show when searching for Wifi signals at the house).
