    Sun Beach Villa Thio is a villa with a private pool and large terrace,
    that is set on two floors. The main entrance to the villa is at
    road-level. Inside the villa is a living room with dining area and
    kitchen. There are two bedrooms, one double bedroom with en suite
    bathroom and one twin bedroom with en suite bathroom, and one family
    bathroom.

    Living Room
    The living room is air-conditioned and has a Satellite TV, dining area,
    comfortable sofas, DVD Player and Free Wi-Fi. There are patio doors to
    the pool terrace with Sea views.

    Kitchen
    The kitchen features a toaster, coffee maker, washing machine,
    dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There is also
    a barbecue outside.

    SECURITY DEPOSIT
    If your party consists of a group where the average age is under 25
    years of age, a refundable security deposit of 150 EUR per person is
    required, payable with the accommodation balance or prior to arrival.
    Upon departure, the villa must be left clean and tidy and upon
    inspection, the security deposit will be refunded minus any breakages
    or additional cleaning required.

Unloved garden

The area was lovely with a beach within walking distance and some lovely restaurants. The villa was clean and comfortable, the pool was nice, but the garden was unloved, the grass was long and the palm in the picture is double the size and blocks some of the sun. Apart from that had a lovely time.

Villa could do with some tlc. A bit tired decor and furnishings. The pool needs a good clean. Owners were very helpful when we had no hot water. Polis is a lovely area.

Accomodatie was niet luxe maar voldeed prima. Zwembad was heerlijk thuis komen na een dagje de geweldige omgeving te hebben verkend. Ze hebben wel 50 sinaasappel bomen in de achtertuin staan waar je gebruik van mag maken. De kinderen vonden het geweldig Sinaasapplesteplukken en er om sinaasappels

The owner, Savva's was a great host very entertaining which makes it difficult to comment negatively. We will start with the positives, great location for Polis town and the beach. Very private from surrounding properties and quite at night. Air conditioning is new and effective within bedrooms however you have to pay for the one in the lounge. There are numerous minor complaints which we will not make comment upon and concentrate on important issues that must be listed.The pool has a major leak and we had to fill it each day at the request of the host, further compounded by the green ring around the pools water level and the weeds growing from the pool edge.The downstairs WC and shower could not be used as the sewer smell was overwhelming. Most of the sockets within the kitchen did not work or could not be used.The water pressure was minimal and showering was like a work out having to run around to get wet, a shower outside was available and warmer!.Don't use the sun loungers unless you want blue streaks on your arms, they have tried to repaint using car spray paint which with the heat transfers to your arms and hands and can stay with you for days.Generally I could go on but it is fair to say that a total refurbishment would be the best approach to attracting further visits from us.It seems unfair to be so negative however the present description does not reflect the reality and were taken some time ago.

Disappointing first opinion. Overgrown garden, particularly the banana palms alongside the villa completely shades the pool area in November, but i suspect this wouldn't have been an issue earlier in the year, or if the palms had been trimmed. We had to carryout one or two other general repairs on arrival. Two of the showerheads were blocked, although these were quickly changed by maintenance contract, stairway light not working at all, again quickly fixed. Solar water heating was definitely non functioning, although there is a water heating boost. General appearance was in need of a spruce, although it was end of the season, so this might be understandable. On a good note, the villa was very clean and totally secluded, not overlooked at all. Position is perfect, between Polis and the beautiful Latchi. Argaka and Pomos also easily reached by car, as well as the the famous Akamas walks.

Property did not look like the pictures advertised

It was disappointing to arrive at Villa Thio to find that the property was not as advertised. The pool was dirty (the property manager did come with his son and a janitor to clean it when we made them aware), the sitting room had curtains hanging off the rails, the bathrooms were in need of a good spring cleaning. No mats on the sun beds - and some of them were in very poor condition. No pool towels provided (we had to buy some). The property manager Savvas was helpful but he couldn’t really appreciate our point of view I think. I always think a holiday should be nicer than your own home - a treat, a pleasant place to spend time relaxing. Unfortunately this was not. It was difficult to explain our expectations of cleanliness, comfort etc to a person who may not have experienced them himself. We managed to make the most of our holiday because we needed time together as a family to rest and relax, but all in all this was not good value for money. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Luxusvilla ????

Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf vor allem in den Bädern (Toiletten) einer Renovierung. Der Abfluss am Balkon ist verstopft und bei starkem Regen lief das Wasser bis ins Schlafzimmer. Der Pool verlor jeden Tag 10 cm an Wasser und musste von uns nachgefüllt werden. Anstelle einer Loungegarnitur standen 2 Eisenbänke ohne Auflagen. Kleine Mängel (defekter Bewegungsmelder, Kaffeemaschine und Nachttischlampe) wurden sofort behoben. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr gut, der Strand zu Fuß erreichbar.

It was our third visit to Latchi, all in villas, so the vacation was a known quantity. The villa was as depicted online, with a lovely private garden around a good-sized pool. The owners were absolutely brilliant, kind, thoughtful, pleasant, just could not be any better. The area was lovely and quiet as we prefer, but you can walk fifteen minutes into town, or less if you walk into Latchi harbour. There are many Tavernas to choose from, where the Cypriot people provide a warm and genuine welcome and make you feel relaxed. The weather was superb, about 34 degrees for the end of May early June, which suited us just fine. Overall, we had a good relaxing holiday and were very pleased with our booking with Agni Travel
