“This hotel was such a surprise! We had an unexpected layover in the Azores, and booked this hotel at the last minute. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with cold towels (it was summer) and were amazed by the beautiful property. We were also also mindblown by the handwritten welcome card and the fruit basket. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We could not believe that such a first class breakfast was included in our stay. Chefs that are ready to take your order, buffets of protein,……

“Pleasantly surprised with our stay! The hotel was much nicer than it seemed based on research. The check in was easy and they even gave us free parking. We were also surprised by a fresh fruit plate that was sent to the room! The pools and hot tub were nice and every common area in the hotel was spotless. The beds were also very comfortable…probably the best ones we had on our entire trip!”

“It very much depends on which side of the hotel your room is on…half our party was on the old side where rooms and bathrooms were very much in need of upgrading. Luckily I was one of our group with rooms on the new side which were palatial in size and very nice. My only complaint would be the lack of lighting in our bathroom, it almost looked like they had removed lights, probably to comply with an eco drive but it was quite dark. Overall the hotel was in a good location, in walking distance of……
