「A perfect stay and will definitely be back. Easy check in, the rooms, 1 and 2, were fantastic and great for the dogs. The facilities in the room were everything we needed. 「Incredible location close to everything, friendly staff, good value. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with nice views, lots of amenities including kettle, full bath. Llangollen is a beautiful, friendly town with local shops/no franchises. There are wonderful walks along canals to waterfalls, deserted abbeys. 」

The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. 「I stayed here for work. 1st night, the room was clean but quite basic. I got woken up at 12.15 am by a group of drunken men who didn’t stop with their noise until 5 am. I told reception the next day and they moved me to a much better and quieter room the next day. Food was excellent in the restaurant. I didn’t try the spa. Staff very welcoming.」

「I'm afraid that we're extremely disappointed with the state if this property. It smells of damp and water ingress everywhere, with stains and skirting hanging off, there's an overpowering smell and generally uncleandownstairs bedroom. I'm not sure how you can charge for this. 」
