Old railway route. The raised bed of the GWR loop between Clynderwen and Letterston, running through Maenclochog and Rosebush to take out the slate quarried there. This extension beyond Rosebush was constructed in 1895 and known as the North Pembrokeshire and Fishguard Railway. This is most definitely not my first stay at The Mariner's. I go there because i genuinely love staying there. Nice sized rooms with good bathrooms. Comfortable, warm and quiet. The hotel itself oozes charm and is central to the town itself. Excellent parking too.
