"Fantastic location, plenty of parking, everything you need (home from home) However the property is tired and needs some tlc. The garden is overgrown and the hedges are unkept which obstruct the sea views. Overall I would definitely recommend the property. "

From the Welcome book which had instructions and takeout menus to the safety pins in the drawers to the utensils in the kitchen. The location as well made our stay so much better, there is Co-op a couple meters away and short walk to the seafront. "

"We loved the atmosphere of the Alverton and its grounds. There was plenty of space for parking and the reception was only a short walk. The rooms we had were very well presented and very clean. I have marked down on the eco credentials as all the lights and television were on when we arrived which wasn't necessary. The terrace was a great place to sit in the late afternoon for a pre-dinner drink. At times the bar staff were talking to each other rather than looking after customers needs but they were always polite. We ate dinner the first night of our stay which was delicious and at a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good too. I would recommend this hotel to my friends."
