「Equiped with all things you most things you need and use at home. Even has beach supplies like noodles and boogie boards. The beach close by is great for swimming and learning to surf. Not much to see for snorkeling. There are a lot of sea turtles further down in the bay, just watch for their heads! Would stay again.」

「Everything was as mentioned when we arrived. The room was inviting and had beach towels rolled on the bed along with a box of chocolate Macadamia nuts. Having the lanai kitchen area was a bonus as it was screened in and allowing the trade winds flow through the room. The host was responsive to our questions. Very satisfied!」

「Unit was clean and as described. Lovely views, quiet area and perfect for a relaxing trip. Unit is well appointed and relaxing on 4th floor balcony provided amazing sunrise & sunset views. No direct beach access as it is on the rocks. Baby beach is very easy 3-5 minute walk. The location is quiet and ideal, away from people, buildings and businesses of Poipu beach. There is a shopping center very close. Only recommendation would be more comfortable and relaxing balcony furniture. 」

「The room was very welcoming: when we arrived, there was a box of chocolate-covered macadamia nuts, and the TV was playing Hawaiian tunes! The windows were open, letting in fresh breezes and the Blue Hawaii theme carried throughout. 「Beautiful place very spacious. Home away from home. The enornous couch is sooooo comfortable, I could've slept on it, I did take a nap on it though. Washer, dryer capacity is awesome and the dryer dries fast. Kitchen was very well appointed, had everything I have at home and then some. Loved the oven mits and silicone baking sheets. 「The place was exactly as pictured, even better. There are also 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards and a cooler on the lanai. Check in was super easy and the host was very attentive. We had an AC issue and while the maintenance man wasn’t able to come that day (it was the day the tsunami came) he did come in the morning and fixed it within 15 minutes. Highly recommend this place! It was a little tight with 2 teenagers but we bought an air mattress and it was fine.」

「Kiahuna Resort is special. First, it's set on one of the most beautiful and easily enjoyable ocean beaches in the world. Second, the expansive grounds are lovely and very well maintained. There's probably not a bad unit in this resort - I've stayed in 4 over the last 42 years - so it probably comes down to price point, communication with owner, and standard of furnishings and decor. We have no complaints from this stay!」
