“KP228 was exactly as pictured in the photos, and also had a closetful of useful beach items for the guest to use (beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, etc.). Bed was very comfortable, and the A/C kept us cool throughout the house!”

“Everything was as mentioned when we arrived. The room was inviting and had beach towels rolled on the bed along with a box of chocolate Macadamia nuts. Having the lanai kitchen area was a bonus as it was screened in and allowing the trade winds flow through the room. The host was responsive to our questions. Very satisfied!”

“Unit was clean and as described. Lovely views, quiet area and perfect for a relaxing trip. Unit is well appointed and relaxing on 4th floor balcony provided amazing sunrise & sunset views. No direct beach access as it is on the rocks. Baby beach is very easy 3-5 minute walk. The location is quiet and ideal, away from people, buildings and businesses of Poipu beach. There is a shopping center very close. Only recommendation would be more comfortable and relaxing balcony furniture. ”

“We loved our stay! The property is conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. We loved the 2 queen beds in 1 room and the king in the other allowing everyone in our group to sleep well. The shared space is open and comfortable with plenty of seating so we could all hang out together. It was a great place to stay for our family ”

“the host was available and responsive when needed. i booked at the last minute, and was graciously accommodated. the room was as in photos. very clean with all amenities needed for a pleasant visit. you can’t beat the location! I was a resident on Kauai for 10 years, and being in Poipu was a desirable area since it is convenient to restaurants and shopping if that’s of interest for you. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again myself in the future. ”

“Beautiful place very spacious. Home away from home. The enornous couch is sooooo comfortable, I could've slept on it, I did take a nap on it though. Washer, dryer capacity is awesome and the dryer dries fast. Kitchen was very well appointed, had everything I have at home and then some. Loved the oven mits and silicone baking sheets. I ordered the same for our home. Also love the shape of the ice, the ice maker makes...very manageable. All in all a wonderful place to stay. One……

“The place was exactly as pictured, even better. There are also 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards and a cooler on the lanai. Check in was super easy and the host was very attentive. We had an AC issue and while the maintenance man wasn’t able to come that day (it was the day the tsunami came) he did come in the morning and fixed it within 15 minutes. Highly recommend this place! It was a little tight with 2 teenagers but we bought an air mattress and it was fine.”

“Kiahuna Resort is special. First, it's set on one of the most beautiful and easily enjoyable ocean beaches in the world. Second, the expansive grounds are lovely and very well maintained. There's probably not a bad unit in this resort - I've stayed in 4 over the last 42 years - so it probably comes down to price point, communication with owner, and standard of furnishings and decor. We have no complaints from this stay!”
