If you want to truly discover Jamaica
I had a wonderful time at Janet and Cleveland's place. They were amazing and caring hosts to me. They were always available to show me the best places around Port Antonio and its beautiful surroundings...
The localization of the cabin is simply perfect. Part of the Zion Hill community, you can walk in the morning to some of the best beaches you can dream of (Blue Lagoon, Winnifred Beach). Local communities manage some of these Beaches in a very sustainable way (socially and ecologically).
The Portland Parish is one of the most preserved areas in Jamaica, and the nature is simply stunning.
The cabin itself is a very clean, cozy, and well-tough building (room, bathroom, kitchen), in a beautiful garden. You'll find all the commodities you'll need in a space open to nature : the best place for a retreat.
Cleveland is a well-experienced guide who can help you to discover the lagoon, and the coral reefs, as well as the best parties and sound systems in town!
The hosts offer delicious meals that are : well-priced, locally sourced, and homemade.
If you want to truly discover Jamaica in an authentic and lively way : this is the place !
