Great stay!

The house was amazing, the only issue we had was mosquitos in the yard, but we had just had a horrible storm when we stayed. Great spot for fishing as well! There is a small bait shop just next to the house with all the supplies you would need.

Perfect getaway

Honestly the best Vbro experience we’ve ever had. House was exactly as listed. Clean, cute, well organized. Host was easy to communicate with and answered all of my silly questions. During our stay there was a heck of a storm, and while you could absolutely feel the house sway a bit (as it was built to) the power only went off for a few moments a few times- idk if they have a generator or just a better power company than we do back home LOL. The beach it’s on is great to look for shells, and neat to see the big ships coming and going. Not especially good to swim at, but there’s plenty within close driving distance. Throw your stuff in the car, and drive to crystal beach. You can park on the beach itself and hop in the water. The views from the house and fact you don’t have to deal with a million rowdy beach goers are honestly a plus. My kids barely wanted to leave the house- and we didn’t except to go to the “big” beach once and grab the ferry to Galveston for dinner one night. All around great experience, will book here again.
