Once Upon a Tide

  • Just minutes to the Gulf of Mexico and all it has to offer. Travel down the canal to the Gulf with calm waters and serine setting that is a hint of Old Florida. You may even get a glimpse of the often seen manatees. Your boat will be ready when you are because it can be sitting at the dock just behind the house. Kayaking, paddle boarding, canoe, and fishing are some of the fun activities you can enjoy. This open concept 3 bedroom and 2 bath home with an updated kitchen, dining and great room open to the screen porch and beautiful yard, entertaining will be a breeze. Relax on the lanai under the covered pavilion while enjoying the water view. Go explore the mangroves or visit one of the many islands in one of our kayaks or paddle boards. Even go island hopping on your own boat and enjoy the many restaurants on the water with boat access. You can also enjoy world class Gulf fishing within minutes. This house is conveniently located to shopping, beaches, and restaurants and having an easy commute to Tampa gives you more opportunities to take advantage of your vacation.

    The house was reasonably clean. We enjoyed using the kayaks and fishing from the dock. Everything worked as it should and extra items were included. The beds, hot water, appliances, etc were all good. We had 4 adults and three teenagers with plenty of space. We would stay here again.

    Perfect place on the canal.

    We were honored to be the first to stay here since the complete renovations after the hurricane. Top end appliances and furniture. A cozy screen room to relax in. Close to many great restaurants and anything else you'd need! Visit downtown NPR and The Park. We hope to return! We stayed for 2 months and didn’t want to leave!

    Short get away

    I was worried about this property being damaged by hurricane, property owners assured me that all was remodeled and everything is ready. Well let me say that they were 100% right. This property is absolutely beautiful. We loved everything about it. Every room was decorated beautifully. Love this house.

    A wonderful time!!

    My wife and I stayed for the month of March. Things could not have been better. The weather was perfect and the home was perfect. The owner was in contact to make sure everything went smooth. Would highly recommend.

    Beautiful home with great fishing

    Beautiful home and location. Great fishing! I caught a sand shark, which im told is rare in a canal, and nice size catfish. Everything is there. Even fishing poles! All appliances were clean and beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend to others and stay again

    Dock wasnt too safe, railings a d bench need repair. No boat ramp access. No hose or water access. Trash wasnt put out and was full and full of maggots.

    Perfect Long Weekend

    Thank you for a wonderful long weekend at your place! Communication was quick, it was clean, we had plenty of space for our two families and fur babies, lots of fun was had by all ages on the boat and in the kayaks exploring the area!! Neighbors are friendly. The stilt houses, scalloping, snorkeling around with all the tropical fish, sandbar time, Durney Key and Anclote adventures gave us priceless memories. We made a beautiful, quick morning walk around the kayak launch area and park in Brasher Park. Gill Dawgs accommodated our large group with almost no wait time and the food was very good. We loved this area, convenient to everything yet it felt quiet and far from anything. We even got to see the manatees out in the canal as well as a baby gator (which surprised us!). We would definitely return! Thanks so much for your insight on boating the area. 💓

    Enjoyed our stay, fenced back yard was a real plus (we have dogs). Had a few glitches and Crystal was very responsive. We would be back next year, but it is already booked 😔

    Property was clean, well equipped and in a great location. For those that enjoy daily walks several small parks are within walking distance. Several restaurants/bars are easily accessible.

    Wonderful getaway

    We had such a great time. The house and property is exactly as pictured. The amenities were great, saved us from having to rent kayaks. It’s a short paddle ride to the gulf. Shops and restaurants are really close. Property owner responds quickly to any questions. I highly recommend.

    Wonderful, Economical, and Has Kayaks

    We found this house perfect for our trip! We had 5 adults and 4 teenagers in our group. The property was clean, the yard was lovely, the location on the canal and the kayaks were enjoyed by all.
