Directly across the street from the cottage is Port Richey Waterfront park, featuring a dog park, playground, kayak launch and walking trails. For outdoor enthusiasts, you're only a short drive from the renowned Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park, perfect for hiking, bird watching, and kayaking. The nearby SunWest Park is a scenic waterfront recreation area built around the former limestone mine known as "SunWest Mines." Featuring a stunning 70-acre spring-fed lake with pristine white sand beaches, it offers a perfect setting for relaxation and outdoor fun. For adventure seekers, The Lift Adventure Park offers wakeboarding on a cable system, paddleboarding, and an exciting Aqua Park, ensuring fun for the whole family.
