An amazing place with an amazing view!

The Seahorse Haven was just an incredible place to stay, just steps away from the beach! The views from the porch were inspiring and very colorful as the sun set each night. A wonderful place to relax, walk on the beach, and decompress! I highly recommend Seahorse Haven! I'll be back soon!

Great vacation rental in Cape San Blas!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall wonderful vacation rental!Biggest drawback is the extremely poor internet...typical download speed (when you could connect) was 2 Mbps...much too slow for most websites to connect. This is compounded by lack of cell phone coverage (at least for our ATT and Tmobile phones). If you need to connect for anything, or expect to stream music...this will be an ongoing challenge for you. As much as we loved the house and location...this will probably keep us from renting again unless I have my own alternative means of connecting in the future.

Enjoyable stay

I will echo what everyone else said, this is much bigger than it looks and was comfortable for our group that utilized all four bedrooms. The porch is a show-stopper and the rooms are all comfortably appointed. Everything you need in the kitchen is provided and, as always, the management company is extremely responsive and helpful.

Wonderful!!!

Perfect location and the house was great! The bed was comfortable. The shower was awesome! The kitchen large enough to cook in. It was a great stay! I would stay here again.

Most Relaxing Vacation Ever!

It was the perfect stay! House was so clean and the views were incredible! Ease of check in and check out was definitely a plus. Loved the screened in porch and such an easy walk to the beach. Can’t wait to come back again. Love this sweet beach home. We had everything we needed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family had a perfect week at Seahorse Haven. The house was everything we needed: spacious rooms with a practical, usable layout. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of storage containers, handheld appliances, dishes/glasses, and even an empty cabinet to store our groceries! The whimsical decor added to the vacation feel--lots of care was spent decorating/supplying this home. The screened porch, however, was gold. It was quite roomy with plentiful, sturdy, and comfortable furnishings. We spent much time in this space. Other plusses: we loved the location on the beach (easy access & not crowded), the space under the house with a full shower, and another comfortable seating area. This was our first time using Coastal Joe Rentals, and I will definitely use them again. Every contact with them was friendly, helpful, and professional. They went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect stay on Cape San Blas.

Cozy, inviting home on the Gulf Front

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our week here! Just my spouse & I along with our 2 dogs & the layout was perfect for us. We stayed on the main floor & didn't even need the upstairs. The porch is welcoming with furniture to hang out & that's where we spent most our time when not on the beach. The kitchen is well stocked, comfy beds, & fluffy towels. Our only issue is with the lack of basic essentials supplied by the management company. No kitchen garbage bags (other than the 1 in the can) & no note that we needed to bring more. 1 pack of powder dishwasher detergent was provided. Upon arrival the dishes were so dirty I had to hand wash everything we planned on using. Then each time I used the dishwasher, the same outcome occurred - dirty dishes. Never could figure out if the dishwasher prefers liquid or what? Either way, skimping on dish detergent isn't something you want to do to ensure sanitation & safety for future guests. Also, the lack of hand soap at each sink? Suggest - ditch the bag/cup offering & spend that $ on soaps. Other than that, yes we'd stay here again :-)

As other have said this house is larger than it looks and the porch is the best feature. We spent the majority of our time on the porch. If you are traveling with more than two couples, the only drawback is only one full bath on the lower level, so you have to share the bath. We will definately be back for another quick get away!! Thank you Seahorse Haven for a great stay!!

The sunsets from the back porch were wonderful. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures and the screened back porch was fabulous. The cons: The house could use some updates and a deep cleaning, though. It looked like rugs and furniture hadn't been cleaned in a while. Some of the decor is dated and could use replacing. All in all, we enjoyed our stay due to the location and the back porch.

Upon arrival, the screen was torn from a tropical storm the day before. They came and fixed it the first day! Great location. Love the level, private boardwalk. Beautiful beach. Screen porch is always a bonus and has plenty of furniture. The decor is fun and colorful and gives you that beach house/happy feeling. Pots and pans and dishwasher could use upgrading, but we got by. Locks on doors can be challenging, but we got used to them. That being said, we would rent this house again.

Wonderful!

The house was perfect for our group. Beautiful, bright decor and lots of comfy seating both inside and out. The porch was deep enough we could enjoy being outside while it rained without getting wet. The beach is deep and wide in this area too. The steaks we cooked on the new Weber grill turned out awesome. Skullys can’t be beat for their low country boil. He is so friendly and food is awesome. I would love to stay here again even though the road flooded from all the rain. We were high and dry and didn’t leave but a couple of times.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location if the beach re-nourishment would not have been taking place for our entire visit. Plenty of seating options both indoor and on screen porch. Locks and handles on both front and back doors are very difficult to work (we were even told at check-in the doors "were a pain"....doors blew open at night when we had thought they were secure. Pocket door in main level bathroom was broken upon arrival. Reported it first day along with 3 burnt out vanity light bulbs in master bathroom. Neither were addressed during our scheduled 10 day stay. We left 2 days early due to beach re-nourishment taking place in front of house and limited beach access, with machinery working 24/7. Instead of offering apology, refund, (or even restaurant coupons or passes to State Park beach would have been gracious considering the money we spent for beach front) the situation was compared to an "unfortunate rainy week at the beach" when we checked out early. I had discussed changing locations 2 days prior to arrival, but there was no follow through from agent when I requested a link to the suggested alternative unit (which would not have had re-nourishment in front.) This was our 6th trip in four years to CSB. We made a point to visit in April 2019 for two weeks and ate out every day locally to support the community, so do understand the need for work on the beach. Although we liked Seahorse Haven, we were very disappointed in Coastal Joe customer service, and felt our concerns were ignored.

Loved the location, screened in porch and short walk to the beach. The only negative thing we would have to say is that some of the furniture and carpets are in need of updating/cleaning. We had an issue with one of the a/c units and they were on top of it immediately. Great customer service.
