I loved Joan’s Retreat!

The property is very nice with all of the comforts of home! Loved the ease of getting to the beautiful white sand at the beach! Very nice outdoor space, although it was down right cold a few days we were there & did not use it! Will definitely be back! Thank you, Joan!!

Wonderful quiet place

We really enjoyed our stay even though it was short. This trailer and outdoor space is super clean, accommodating and spacious. The outdoor space was great for parking cars out of the sun or just relaxing. The outdoor shower was really handy. The beach is just a few blocks away and we were able to drive and park right at beach path. The fenced yard was also great for our dog. The only slight inconvenience was we had 4 adults and only 3 comfy seats in living area.

Don't expect communication or Wi-Fi.

Pro's: Quiet location is very close to the beach and beach accesses. It's a new and comfortable mobile home. The pole barn area was great for covered parking, outside relaxation, and grilling especially when it rained. Awesome outdoor shower! The whole property is fenced which was nice to turn the dog and kid loose in to play. TONS of hot water. Adequate pots/pans/dishes. Con's: Had to email owner in the hour before check-in for the entry code. NO WI-FI. Let me repeat: NO WI-FI. Owner completely ignored my message about Wi-Fi Access which the listing confirmation instructed me to send if not received. My wife and I both missed a full day work each. Our son couldn't use his electronics at night. If you have Verizon there's not enough signal to check email or use a hotspot. If you aren't going to provide Wi-Fi access it should be specified in the listing because this is expected. Also, be prepared to bring/buy all paper/toiletry/cleaning products. We only had maybe a half roll of TP, no paper towels, no cleaning products, no shampoo/soap/etc. Dishwasher full of "clean" dishes and we had to scrub a lot of them to get them clean. I'd also bring a good kitchen knife and a cutting board if you plan on cooking much at all. There are better properties in the area at this price point especially given the lack of Wi-Fi access and lack of owner communication. It's a nice property but the owners need to provide what's typically provided in this area at this price point.

Great place to stay

Super clean and very convenient to the beach access. We loved the fenced yard for our dog. Definitely recommend staying here.

Girls Weekend

We had a great weekend and we loved the place. It is very cute and clean and a short drive to the beach. You could walk also we just preferred to drive. Would definitely stay here again
