Great place for us and our 2 dogs!

Location was great and we loved going to the beach with our dogs. Perfect temps in low 80’s. Very peaceful with no crowds this time of the year! Restaurants were few but good food. A first for us at Cape San Blas but not the last!!

Relaxing beach getaway

We had a wonderful week in cape San Blas! The property was perfect for our family and a quick walk to the beach. Also, the location is was a quick walk to the trading post and the seafood market. We got biscuits every morning from the trading post and enjoyed seafood from the market. Great place to relax and enjoy time with family!

Perfect location and great host

Me and my daughter planned this trip before she started college. She has a small dog that we wanted to be able to make apart of this trip. The house was perfect for us. Literally steps away from the beach and a two min walk to the store and ice cream shop. We had one minor issue with the ac one day that decide to quit working but as soon as I told the host they had someone there in a couple hours and had it fix and working. If your looking to get away and relax not be around a crowded beach or a commercial area this is the place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The price and location were excellent and that’s why I chose this house. Easy access to the beach and a few stores and food places. We really enjoyed the screened porch and deck. The livingroom furniture wasn't the most comfortable and the dryer barely works but it didn’t matter to us since we were there to enjoy the sun and outdoors. . Overall, I would stay here again for the price I paid.

Solo trip with dog

My dog and I stayed for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time! The home is older and does show its age, but you can’t beat the location and price. It's less than a minute's walk to the nearest beach access and a 1-2 minute walk to the Tradin' Post, ice cream, and Weber's Donuts. Keep in mind that the furniture is glass top as shown in the photos. You will also need to bring or buy basic cooking essentials such as salt, pepper, condiments, and cooking spray. There are beach towels, a set of beach chairs, a beach wagon, and other various beach toys in the storage area downstairs. Minor tips to improve the property and stay... 1. Have a set of plastic cups and dishes for people who are extra cautious about breaking anything. 2. The fan in the master (king) bedroom makes a ton of noise at the two highest speeds. 3. The house could use a good air freshener which is normal for older beach homes. Having one available for guests to use if they wish would be great! Thanks for a great stay!

Reviewer Comments: We liked the house and overall had a nice experience.Suggestions:1) replace the shower doors. They kept getting stuck. Toilets do not flush correctly.2) More cleaning supplies and glassware. There was no spray to wipe down the counters with; not even a sponge. The floors kept getting sandy everyday with only the 3 of us. There needs to be and indoor doormat. We had to do dishes everyday for the 3 of us due to the fact of few glasses.3) I would not rent kayaks from the company you gave us. They gave us a kayak with a hole in the bottom which ultimately took on water and capsized throwing our daughter into the ocean and her belongings that were with her. She was fine, but her belongings were lost to the ocean.

Beach is amazing. The house is in a great location. The kitchen is one of the best stocked of any rental I have been in. Comfortable beds. Donna from the agency was very helpful. Would definitely stay again!
