“We were very happy with our stay in Lucca! What a wonderful small town and beautiful community! There is so much to do and see, we wish we had stayed longer. There were so many restaurants and cafes as well as cute shops! We loved walking along the old walls around the city. We could not have picked a better place to stay. Our room was spotless, but the hostess Deborah was the highlight. She was so incredibly welcoming and accommodating! She kept in regular contact with us up to arrival even as……

We were in the purple room, which was L shaped and didn’t have a lot of floor space. This establishment is right off one of the main shopping streets- so you get a lot of street noise. Also, the WiFi is finicky and low security. Finally, every place we stayed in Italy had hard beds and pillows. This was no exception. Security was very strong with codes for……

“The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache……
