「We visited the San Luca Palace in September. The rooms are magnificent. Clean and spacious. The hotel is very close to the town centre (about a 5 minute walk to the Duomo).
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and the staff calm and attentive.
There is also a very good restaurant about 3 doors down from the hotel.

「Le Dimore del Borgo is just on the outskirts of Lucca, 5min walk and you enter the walls of Lucca. Parking at the hotel is limited, about 10ish cars in total directly at the back of the hotel in an off street secure parking lot.
The hotel reception is not staffed 24-7.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, with cooking facilities and dining table. The bathroom was very clean.

「This was a GREAT stay! Perfect location ... right in the Roman theater arena, yet our room was not on the inside of the walls, so it was nice and quiet at night. Accommodations were wonderful, clean and comfortable; location was perfect. We were at the arena, close to the Roman wall around the city, and very close and walkable to several food, shopping, and historical sights. Definitely recommend this location!」
