One week in March

We have just been back to this house for the 5th time - and that says it all. We feel like it is just coming back to your own holiday house. The house is very popular and rented out almost all year round for a good reason.

Amazing property!

It was an incredible week at an amazing villa...the kids loved the two pools (the water was always at a good temperature) and the big and nice lawn for their plays. Nice barbecue area with a big outdoor table and lounge area. Inside the house is spacious and very well decorated. The owner is extremely nice and always available. Highly recommend!!! What you see in the pictures is what you get...

Fantastic house

Really great villa, spacious, comfortable, huge gardens, well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. We visited in February and were very lucky with great weather, we had the pool heated and kids were able to swim every day (although it was still pretty cool). Location is handy... 10-15 minutes to supermarkets, beach etc although nothing withing walking distance so a car is definitely needed.

Weer een heerlijke week gehad!

We bedanken Augusto voor het (weer) mogen gebruiken van zijn luxueuze villa. Een riant huis in een rustig gedeelte, 6 km van Portimao. En dat is dan ook de enige kritiek: je woont enigszins achteraf. Maar als je dat incalculeert dan heb je hier de hemel op aarde: enorm groot huis met 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Een riante keuken met uitgebreide uitrusting. Een houtskoolbarbecue én een gasbarbecue. Een schitterende tuin met daarin een geweldig zwembad met een klein bad ernaast voor de kleintjes. Kortom: een aanrader!

Calme

Nous avons séjourner dans cette belle villa avec tout confort. Belle intérieur avec bcp d'espace, belle piscine bien entretenue, espace vert très beau, rien à dire. Nous étions très au calme , excellent si on recherche le repos. La climatisation était un vraie plus, car il a fait très chaud pendant notre séjour. Néanmoins je trouvais que c'était vraiment assez loin de la plage et de toute commodité ( pour ma part biensur) et le point qui ma vraiment déçu était la propriété. On paye quand même bcp d'argent pour que finalement on se retrouve avec une Villa bien sale, un sol qui nous a rendu les pieds noirs après 5min des notre arrivé.

La mejor semana del año

La propiedad es magnífica tanto en el exterior como en el interior. El jardín es un paraíso, con árboles, plantas y la piscina. En El interior todo ayuda al descanso y el ocio. La única pega que señalar es que el lavavajillas no funciona bien lo que supone una incómoda circunstancia pero muy fácil de solventar. La finca está situada en una urbanización tranquila y cercana a playas, supermercados y restaurantes. Han sido unas vacaciones magníficas. Gracias a la maravillosa casa de la todos , mi familia y mascota hemos disfrutado.

Amazing villa!

We had a fantastic week here with our two children aged 8 and 4 . We paid to have the pool heated which was well worth it even in August. The pool was great - lots of pool toys as well which was a bonus! Lots of space to relax and cook. The gardens were amazing, lots of beautiful plants and mature trees. The property is so secure for children with high hedges and gated so you weren’t ever worried that they could wander off! Inside the villa the rooms are large, there are spacious bedrooms and it was so clean and comfortable. We actually didn’t want to leave the villa on some days! It is only 20mins drive from Lagos which is worth a visit , the sea kayaking is great there. Only 10 mins drive from plenty of supermarkets in Portimao. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend to others!

Perfect house for a family break

We loved staying in the villa, which was prefect for our family (4 adults and a 2 year old). The pools are excellent and the spacious and well maintained garden was wonderful for our energetic little boy.

Lovely property, beautiful gardens

We stayed with 4 adults and 4 children (aged from 8-1) and had a great week. The property was the perfect size for us and very easy access with it all across one level. The gardens and pool are impeccably maintained and having the pool heated was perfect to mean we could enjoy the water for long periods without ever feeling cold for the kids (or adults!). The only drawback on the property is the layout, with the well-equipped kitchen being a little small and on the opposite side of the villa to where you will eat (assuming you are eating outside). Nearby, the beaches a short drive are good and there are a few 'local' restaurants, which can be walked to, although not really with children. The roads don't have pavements and it's a mile at least to the closest one. The one we tried was very good Overall, very pleasant week and excellent value. Would recommend. Thanks!

Fantastic Villa

We booked this villa to stay with our friends for 11 nights. During this stay me and my fiancé got married at a nearby resort. We wanted something special and we got that and more with the villla. It’s exceptional. The villa has 4 lovely bedrooms including a suite with a walk in wardrobe and separate bathroom. The kitchen has all you need with all the mod cons, coffee machine, large fridge and freezer. The outside of the property is where you spend most of your time either on a sun lounger or sat on the outdoor furniture whilst enjoying the sun. There is two pools, one children’s and one a bit deeper. We opted to have the main pool heated and it made a difference. The gardens are well looked after and he pool guy comes most days to clean the pool. Check in and check out very easy. The villa is situated about 12km from the centre of Alvor but it’s a simple journey and easily accessible if you have a car and takes about 10mins. Nothing more to say other than thank you for providing such an amazing Villa.

Both photos and reviews we saw and read before renting this villa for the first fortnight of July make justice to what it is you can expect - nothing less. Minor problems were also conveniently and timely resolved by Augusto and her mother Gilberta whom we would like to thank for the warm welcome they extended to us.

Nous remercions vivement Augusto qui a toujours été disponible depuis le début de contact sur le site Abritel, et jusq'à la fin de notre séjour. La villa est très jolie, bien entretenue, très bien équipée. Un parfait "chez soi". La localisation est calme en ce séjour du mois d'avril. Les alentours sont riches en balades et découvertes. A nouveau grand merci à Augusto et à sa maman qui nous a accueilli.

Modern High Spec Villa

Stayed in mid April for a week when the weather wasn't great and my son was revising for school exams. The villa was extremely spacious giving everyone their own space, with good quality kitchen and bathrooms, and comfortable beds. Well located for beaches, mountains and golf courses. On our shortlist for a return during the summer months.

Zuhause away from home

Wir haben als älteres Ehepaar 14 Wochen in der außergewöhnlichen Villa verbracht. Es war ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Stets wurden wir liebevoll betreut. Jeder Wunsch wurde umgehend erfüllt bzw. schnellstens Handwerker bestellt, wenn ein kleines Problem auftrat. Die blütenweiße Bettwäsche und sauberen Handtücher wurden wöchentlich gewechselt. Es hat sich ein sehr herzlich-freundschaftliches Verhältnis zu den fürs Housekeeping verantwortlichen Damen, Betinha und Laura, aus der Familie des Besitzers entwickelt. Im Winter war es wegen der gut funktionierenden Klimaanlage/Heizung angenehm warm im Haus. Das Kaminholz stand zur freien Verfügung. Deutsche Fernsehprogramme wurden für uns wunschgemäß zuvor installiert. Der Internetzugang war zuverlässig. Erwähnenswert sind die hervorragenden Betten und das sehr bequeme Sofa im Wohnbereich. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Bäder sind zwar stylisch, aber das Duschen in der Wanne und die Reinigung war etwas umständlich. Gerne haben wir uns im Lounchbereich auf der Terrasse aufgehalten. Der Garten wird akribisch gepflegt. Die Auflagen der Gartenliegen dürften jedoch erneuert werden. Alles in allem haben die 5 Sterne jedoch ihre Berechtigung. Gerne verbringen wir den nächsten Winter wieder in dem gastlichen Haus und freuen uns schon jetzt darauf.

Absolutely wonderful property

We really enjoyed our break at this beautiful house. It is by far one of the best properties we have stayed in. Gilberta gave us a very warm welcome and tour of the property and everything you would expect is supplied. The pool was heated and it was difficult to tear ourselves away to explore the area. Its a perfect place if you want a quiet week away from it all, we would happily stay here again.

Fabulous villa

We stayed here for 1 week in July 2017 (4 adults and 3 children) and had a really relaxing holiday in a fabulous villa. Photos often make paces look bigger than they actually are, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that the photos on the website are a true indication of how spacious this villa is. We didn't spend much time inside the villa, but if we had, there would have been plenty of room for us all. The house is well stocked with everything that you could need in terms of kitchen and dining equipment. We ate all of our meals outside and cooked on the gas BBQ every evening (there is also a charcoal BBQ). The garden is beautifully kept and very private. The hammock proved popular and even though the weather was very hot, we opted for the pool to be heated, which I can recommend. The villa was so good that some days we didn't venture out at all, but Alvor and Lagos are definitely worth a visit. Augusto and Gilberta responded well to everything that we asked of them. Highly recommended.
