Bright and Open Modern Northeast Montavilla ADU

New construction. 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath. Review sleeping arrangement layout before booking. Open modern design. New furniture and bedding. Includes full kitchen with pots and pans spices and olive oil and vinegar. A Mr Coffee maker. TV with directv in each room. Back French patio doors to private yard and garden.
The neighborhood has too many good restaurants and coffee houses to list. My favorites are Mudd Works (coffee), and Bi Partisan Cafe. East Glisan Pizza is excellent. Roscoes, Hourglass (great fried chicken), Observatory restaurant.
Go for a 3 mile hike up to Mt Tabor and get a great view of downtown Portland and watch the sunset.

We had a great three day stay here, while our son had surgery. We didn’t spend much time inside, but it was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and very tasteful. Parking was easy on the street as we had a truck. The bed was comfortable! Mount Taber park was relatively close and was a good walk. Had pizza at East Gilsen pizza lounge and take out from the food trucks at The Yard. Both yummy! I would highly recommend John’s place.

Lovely guest house in a great area. There are shops, restaurants, bars and attractions all within walking distance, but also easy to get on the freeway to travel further afield and only 15 minute drive from the airport. The house has everything you could need and more. The owner was very quick to answer any queries and was very helpful and friendly.

I’ve stayed in many rental units over the years and would say that this is one of the best. The host was great (immediate responses to questions) and the unit actually looked better than the photos in the listing! It was in a great location and had a full kitchen where 4 of us could make and enjoy a complete holiday dinner. I highly recommend this unit.

Easy check in and great communication with the host. I stayed 8 days and the host allowed for soaps, cleaning materials and supplies to last for exactly that. The pantry was pleasantly stocked with a few essential that were helpful. Be prepared for a small walk from the street to your car. This Adu is next a church so parking availability will vary.

We stayed for a week in order to be in Portland for our daughter’s wedding. The space was completely clean very convenient to our daughter’s home, and extremely comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped, and the neighborhood was also very nice to walk around, as well as being convenient to grocery stores, and otherstores and restaurants. Absolutely would stay here again!

No frills, but checks all the boxes

This is our second time staying here. Very clever floor plan and use of space. Plenty of room for 2 people, and I think 3 would do fine here. 4 could manage OK. Nice to have 2 full baths. Host is very attentive and accommodating. Would be nice to have some hooks for hats, jackets, etc., especially on the main level. As long as our son lives where he does, we’ll probably be back.

Lovely quiet unit perfect for our family

This is the second time we've stayed with John while visiting family in the area. The property was sparkling clean, modern, bright and comfortable. Check in and check out were easy. Definitely recommend if you want a quiet, private place to explore the city and surrounding areas.

A Gem in the Montavilla Neighborhood

Adorable and Comfy

The Perfect Spot

We were in town to visit a family member who lives in the neighborhood and this home could not have been more perfect. It was immaculate upon arrival with plenty of space for my family of four to spread out and get comfortable for the week. John was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. Supplies and welcome information were available on site. I have nothing but praise for this rental and I very much look forward to returning in the future.
