My mattress had a burn in it, the room smelled like cigs and weed when I got there. The sheets had several stains so I slept on top of the blanket. Very convenient to Moda center, but would rather stay somewhere cleaner next time.

The only complaint I have is the curtains did not completely cover the windows. As a woman who travels alone, the gap was unacceptable and left me feeling a little exposed. Just get a little wider curtains.

The big plus was Union station is a 10 minute walk across the Broadway Bridge. Hotel is outdated and was reasonably clean, there are no restaurants nearby.

Found the room to be well appointed and very clean. Air conditioning worked well. Parking secure. Comfortable bed and great shower. Could use an update on the curtains-larger and heavier material perhaps but these were adequate.

Staff is really great. The room was clean and spacious. Location is great with downtown Portland only a 5 minute bus ride away. If you’re on a budget and don’t need the frills of a more expensive hotel then I would definitely recommend this hotel. The area is safe and the light rail is within walking distance. Perfect to check out and head right to airport.

The location was a plus - just steps away from the Moda Center, the price felt steep for the overall quality and amenities offered. I don't mind a no-frills hotel, but the cleanliness really let it down; the carpets felt sticky and the bedsheets didn't seem freshly changed. With some attention to housekeeping, this could be a great budget option.

The staff was great and the room was very clean and quiet. The light rail was walking distance from hotel so it was great for when I checked out to head right to airport. It is a budget hotel so no breakfast or gym. The area was safe and you’re a 5 min bus ride to downtown Portland. If you’re on a budget and don’t need the frills of a more expensive hotel then I would recommend this place.

Tough call, walking distance if you have event at convention center. But the condition of this place and surrounding area is rough. Room inside and bed were ok, staff very helpful and kind. But for just a few bucks more per night, you can stay in some gems in the pearl district, easy train ride back to CC. So if absolutely must be closest to CC, sure stay here. If not, explore elsewhere.

It is stated on Expedia that parking is included, however, they demanded $10 for the parking. In the room I got were holes in walls. Moreover, there were holes in a floor covered by very old dirty carpet. It is unsafe for anyone, especially, older people to get around in that room. The smell in the room was disgusting. Everything in the toilet room was falling apart. There was no hot water. That den has to be demolished or at least needs an entire refurbishing. Keep away from that awful place!!!!

First room didn't have working light switches nor working bathroom fan. It also smelt like it wasn't vetelated after someone used the bathroom. Second room was liveable, but they did have running water due to a leak. I'd suggest spending a little more for something better. Side note: Some people showd up in the parking lot and a dude with a shopping cart full of power tool just started u loading them into the cars trunk. Guy got paid and they both left. Sketchy neighborhood, be ware.

Picked this place to stay since it really close to Moda Center so ideal when going to see a show there. Easily able to walk to Moda Center and close to transit. A reasonably priced hotel considering the location. The property is old and things appear to be falling apart. The towels provided weren't fully clean.
