“Charming, nicely decorated, clean. In an authentic, pedestrian neighborhood a short walk to waterfront and restaurants, including our choice, The Belvedere, with its terrace directly on the water. We stayed for one night to visit Villa Carlotta. Carla, our host, went above and beyond. She was very gracious when our plans changed and we were delayed in traffic. She met us at the designated parking space (uphill from the apartment), showed us the way, and welcomed us with a cold beverage and……

“Great location and very clean and modern finishes. Only downside is the steps to get to the unit. Tough for older persons with luggage.”

“Een schitterend schoon en zeer ruim appartement, met alles erop en eraan, wij hebben genoten! (Als je eenmaal weet waar je het warme water aanzet voor de douche). Parkeren is gratis voor de deur en is binnen een kilometer van het centrum. Mochten we weer in de buurt zijn, weet ik waar we overnachten!”

“Monica and Paolo were amazing, they are great communicators and their place was spotless and modern, exactly like the pics. We stayed in 5 different places during our vacation in Italy, their’s was the best out of all of them. They sent us a list of recommended restaurants in the area, they also came to pick us up from the ferry, to drop off our luggage in the apartment before the check in time while it was being cleaned, and took us back to the ferry when they knew we wanted to explore Varenna……
