Clérigos Downtown - Historic Center

This apartment is located in the really historic center of Porto.

Marvelous apartment, recently renovated and the localization in the city center couldn't be better.
This apartment is located in an historic and classified building by UNESCO in Porto. It is located very near the famous Clérigos Tower and it is just above the most interesting places in the center of the city. From here, you can go to the most interesting places by foot. If you want to meet the historic center you will never need a car.
One thing important for you to know about this apartment is that it has some stairs. The apartment has two floors and is located at the 3rd and 4rd floor of the building (no lift).

Electric heating available and a dryer for towels in the bathroom

Great place to explore Porto

The apartment was beautiful and spacious. Our kids were able to comfortably sleep in the same room. Kitchen allowed us to sit and eat together. The generous hosts left us a delicious bottle of wine. The living room was a great place to relax together. Apartment was close enough to walk to everything we wanted to explore in Porto. Highly recommend!

Very convenient location

This was a very convenient location, but there is construction right outside. The city is going through massive construction as of May 2022, so I was woken up every day by loud drilling. Other than the construction, this is a very convenient location. The other negatives about this place is that there is no sound barrier between the public hallway/staircase and the first floor of this apartment, and there is no elevator. You can hear everyone while you are in the living room and kitchen, and they can hear you. Be prepared to climb several flights of stairs! Outside of that, the place has 2 convenient bathrooms. and the beds were comfortable. This was a relaxing place to stay in the heart of Porto.

Charming top floor space

The apartment was centrally located. Nicely appointed with a coffee maker, pots and pans. The only issue we had was getting up and down the stairs - timed lights sometimes timed out before we reached the next switch, leaving us in the dark. Porto is a great city for walking and exploring.

Lovely aoartment

The apartment is perfectly positioned, is light and airy. The negatives are the main bathroom shower, while clean, lacks ventilation so the shower curtain and tiles are mouldy and floor base dangerously slippery. The kitchen is lovely but basically equipped- eg would have been nice to have coffee pods left to go with the coffee maker. The beds are really comfortable and we got fit climbing the stairs.

Great location!

This place is in a great location! The host was also responsive and ensured that we had everything we needed to have a great time! The accommodation is located on the very top floor, but don’t let that deter you.

The apartment is in the perfect location: close to everything. Clean with all amenities. Very friendly and helpful. Roomy for 3: I cannot imagine 7. My 2 reservations: 1. The bathrooms are small ( fine) with no ventilation ( not so good) 2. Parking is difficult: off site and driving in this area of Porto is difficult with steep narrow streets. Bottom line: we would stay here again

Comfortable apartment in a great location

My husband and I just enjoyed 2 weeks in this lovely apartment. Tomas and his team were always available to answer any questions and ensure we had whatever we needed to make our stay perfect. They arranged for day trips and took time to ensure we were familiar with the area and suggested sites of interest and restaurants. The location was outstanding: very historic and central! Tomas made sure we knew there were stairs up to and within the apartment. However, they are very significant, so you should be fit and without disabilities to manage them. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Was a perfect spot to relax after day of exploring the city! We would certainly stay here again!

Die sehr saubere und geräumige Wohnung befindet sich im Herzen von Porto. Alles entspricht der Beschreibung. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants, Douro sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Aus einem Schlafzimmer schöner Ausblick über die Dächer der Stadt. Die Wohnung liegt an einer stark befahrenen Strasse, daher teilweise auch nachts etwas laut.

Amazing location & management staff!!

We stayed for one week with another couple and we had no need for a car as we walked easily to restauarants, Gaia, port houses, etc. Although we were close to the Sao Bento train station, the staff helped us with transportation to the Campanha train station to take a train to Coimbra. The staff were very helpful - carried luggage, assisted with transportation & travel advice. We did get used to all the stairs (great workout) but it would have been nice to have two ensuites since we were travelling with another couple - one bathroom is on the main floor. This, however, would be good for a family as they could share the bathroom off the master bedroom. We loved the food in Portugal! Although I really believe that you should experience your own restaurant selections as you can find many in the area, I must mention our favourite - the Impar restaurant. It is close to the apartment & we visited several times. I am sure you will find your favourite as well!

Nous avons passé un bien agréable séjour dans cet appartement lumineux et très agréablement décoré. Petits bémols, les 4 pièces principales de cet appartement sont desservies de part et d'autre de la cage d'escalier principale, aussi, avons nous dû faire attention pour ne déranger personne ce qui a limité notre impression de "liberté". Par ailleurs, les fenêtres à guillotine de l'étage de vie doivent restées fermées... autre contrainte. Sinon, c'est impeccable, conforme aux photos, et idéalement situé à deux pas de la tour des Clérigos, en plein cœur du vieux Porto

Une place centrale pour visiter Porto. Un accueil très agréable avec de bonnes recommandations. Appartement parfaitement équipé. Seul léger bémol : odeurs désagréables dans un des sanitaires. Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement.
