Good staff terrible neighborhood

Very difficult to find, Orbitz phone number wrong and not staffed 24 hours. Impossible to park without a garage and good luck finding the garage. Street it is on has a couple of "clubs" not a place for kids.

SUPERBE HOTEL

Accueil excellent - Très pro, suite studio propre et surtout bien situé, très proche de la principale artère avec beaucoup de restaurants, de magasins et des principales curiosités. Fatima, qui nous accueilli, nous a très bien conseillé sur les restaurants et nous avons beaucoup apprécié ses recommandations. Nous y retournerons.

Hotel mit kleinen Mängeln

Es hat etwas gedauert bis wir das Hotel gefunden haben. Es gibt nur 7 Zimmer von denen 2 auf einer Etage sind. Man hat gesehen das es erst renoviert wurde das war auch alles schön und sauber war es auch. Schlecht war das unser Zimmer ein kleines Bett (1,40 cm) für 2 Personen hatte obwohl wir ein Doppelbett gebucht hatten! Ich war mit einer Freundin vor Ort und es war natürlich sehr eng in einem Bett, außerdem war nur eine Bettdecke vorhanden. Wir haben dann noch eine nachgeordert! Die Matratzen waren sehr hart! Das Frühstück das wir dazu gebucht hatten war nicht im Hotel sondern eine Strasse weiter in einem Cafe, dies stand auch nicht im Internet. Wir waren zuerst verärgert darüber aber das gute Frühstück hat das wieder gut gemacht. Ein Problem ist einfach wenn erst ab 15.00 Uhr die Rezeption besetzt ist und man nicht mal kleine Probleme klären kann. Im großen ganzen war das Hotel für 2 Nächte ok.

Fatima is the best!

Fatima greeted us when we checked in with a glass of port wine. She gave so many excellent recommendations and answered ALL of my questions (I had many!). Fatima really started the trip off right. The hotel is walking distance from many of the main attractions--the Ponte Luis bridge, Bolhao market, Porto Cathedral, etc (plus the shopping street!). If things aren't walkable they are easily reached via transit. The hotel has a partnership with two breakfast restaurants and both provided huge, delicious breakfasts! Rooms were clean and had kitchenettes, but we chose to take advantage of the many fabulous restaurants in Porto. Also, the hotel was particularly accommodating when we had to have three guests in a two person room for the last night of our stay--they brought extra blankets and pillows--it was very kind!

Best place in Porto!

We hade the best stay in Porto thanks to Fatima and her crew. They were super friendly, personal and really made sure we felt we could ask anything! It place itself is located very central and is very comfortable. I would def stay hera again!

便利な場所、清潔で綺麗。階段が難点。

観光や買い出し、食事も全て歩いて行けて、設備は新しく受付は丁寧。クローゼットも長さがあり5泊分に活用できた。掃除はいつもパーフェクトで、感じがいいです。 階段なので、スーツケースを運ぶのが自分というところが難点。入り口はホテルって店構えじゃないので、見つける時には、狭い小道ですが、教会が目の前なのでそれを目印にすること。住所はポイントずれてグーグルマップで示唆されるのであてにしない方がいいです。

Séjour tout en contraste...

Très compliqué à trouver même avec un GPS, mais bien accueillis, accompagnés au parking (7€ par jour) qui avait été réservé, réceptionniste attentionnée et très disponible. Quartier très en décalage par rapport au côté "chic" de l'hôtel (vie nocturne assez glauque...). Nous avions une grande suite au 3eme (sans ascenseur), jolie mais peu fonctionnelle, chambre, lavabo-wc et coin cuisine et repas en bas, salon, terrasse (magnifique vue, mais ni chaises ni table) et salle de bains en haut. Donc peu d'occasion de profiter de la vue ! Mais gros avantage tout peut se faire à pied ! Porto est une très belle ville. Assez bon rapport qualité-prix quand même.
