Porto City Hotel was in good location, far enough away from the hugely busy Douro area (circa 30 minute walk) and also adjacent to a Metro Station for ease of travel in a very hilly city. The hotel could very well be the cleanest that we have ever stayed in. It was superbly clean. All members of staff were thoroughly professional and willingly available for advice concerning the city’s attractions and facilities. All in all, an excellent hotel!

Property was clean and comfortable. Location is a little removed for downtown core but can talk a subway fairly easy from there. Or if you like walking it’s a good walk downtown.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Porto! The reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with plenty of delicious options to suit all tastes. The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained, making for a comfortable and relaxing experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Porto!

Good Hotel At The Top End Of Town.

The Porto City Hotel is a modern clean and comfortable hotel offering a good overall experience . It is a fair distance from the river and main Porto attractions so fair amount of walking can be involved and is uphill when returning.So maybe not suitable for some , but a good hotel none the less. Not too bad for the shopping centre.

Nice quit hotel not far from the centre of Porto. Only minus was that for less mobile people Porto is not very handy due to the many hills it had.

We stayed here for 6 nights from 10-16 June. We found it very reasonably priced and also very clean and efficiently run. It was a 15 minute walk downhill to the main town and we caught the train back easily. The rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is available on site for a reasonable price. We found some nice restaurants locally for dinner when we didn’t want to go back into town some nights. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay a little out of the main town but close enough to go there each day and night.

First trip to Porto.

Aside from the bed that was too hard for my liking. And the walls being thin that it’s easy to hear conversations or noise from the other rooms/noise from the water system to wake me up, I had a nice stay. Personnel were friendly. Clean environment. Close location to the city centre. And good size of rooms. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and comfortable.
