Staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was in such an amazing location, but was still quiet at night. I would definitley suggest staying here if you are visiting Porto!

This was a wonderful stay. Even though the staff have limited reception hours they stay available throgh online communication. The room was clean and nice. It was central to all the places I wanted to visit. I felt well taken care of and would highly recommend this stay to others.

Great location just steps from the Duoro River! If you want to be where the action is for an affordable price this works great. If you are claustrophobic you might not appreciate the elevator but other then that it was perfeito! Btw that front desk staff were very helpful!!

We loved the room and location in Porto. The bed was a bit hard for us and an extra towel set might have been nice for two days, I.e. three sets for two people. We loved the code for the doors so we were not walking around with keys to loose :)

Look no further. You will find everything you need for the comfortable stay in the middle of the most popular tourist attraction. The property provides the experience of living in the historical building blended with all modern necessities, compact yet very functional, from the elevator to the kitchenette and bathroom. The stuff is amazingly friendly and helpful, both Jose and Catarina were able to help and guide us making sure our questions are answered and our needs are addressed. If you are traveling as a couple - this is your place to stay in Porto

Our visit was particularly memorable because Jose and Katrina lat the front desk, who helped us plan activities before and during our trip as well as assisting us with troubleshooting credit card issues created by the BOLT driving service. We always felt well supported before and during our visit. One area of improvement would be some TV access to English TV stations such as the BBC , CNN, and CNBC.

This hotel was in a very busy and sometimes noisy area. We spoke to Jose about the noise and he explained the effort to replace windows in a historic building was challenging. He was super friendly and helpful. If you like to be in the center of action and enjoy night life this is perfect for you.

The property is at the entrance to Porto, in a pedestrian area with spectacular views. Restaurants are definitely more expensive and there are of all qualities, but everyone finds what they are looking for without a doubt. The hotel staff is very attentive and provides excellent advice on how to make the most of your stay.

Shout out to Katarina for communication, friendliness and helpfulness. Beginning with a wonderful staff, staying at VC Ribeira was excellent. You couldn't find a better location. Clean room, comfortable beds, air conditioning, a fridge, microwave and toaster and great little pod-type coffee maker with coffee provided. From there you can choose from many restaurants, walk the winding cobbled streets, shop to your heart's content, walk along the river a half block away or cross the bridge to Gaia, or hop a tour boat. Highly recommend.

Everything was fine. We booked the hotel because of the location and that it had an elevator. The elevator was very small and slow, but it fit 2 of us with our luggage. We were on the top floor. The elevator did not go to that floor. We had to walk the last flight. These things did not bother us at all. If you cannot walk, make sure to get a room on a lower floor. It was a little noisy at night since we were in the front, but again this did not bother us. This is what you get for being in a great location. I would stay here again.

VC Heritage Ribeira Porto was a fantastic find. Perfect location in Ribiera - steps away from the restaurant scene, Luis II bridge to walk to Gaia. They let us store luggage from 7am, which was a huge help. Rodrigo was super responsive via chat, and José and Catarina at the front desk were warm, polite, and gave great recommendations—not just for Porto but for all of Portugal. Highly recommend!
