Great place for a weekend!
Irene was extremely kind and helpful! She quickly responded to any questions or concerns we had during our stay! We stayed for 3 weeks. The apartment is compact and clean, with most of the basics provided. Good amount of storage and closet space with plenty of hangers, which helps for drying laundry. We really liked having the additional 1/2 bath. Wifi was fast and reliable. There were many thoughtful items like a well supplied kitchen with a full size refrigerator, hairdryer, drying rack, vacuum, iron and ironing board. Some of the downsides were that only 2 coffee pods were provided for the coffee machine and we were unable to find decaf coffee pods for the machine at any of the nearby grocery stores. We requested no housekeeping because we work odd hours and a safe wasn't provided, so it would have been nice to have more than 2 towels. There is a delicious döner restaurant next door that is open until 4:00 am every night, which is very busy and loud until closing. Ear plugs are provided, but we were told the apartment was quiet. Unfortunately, we also ended up with people in the apartment above that stomped around very heavily at all hours. A TV in the bedroom might help cover the sounds. We played white noise to help us sleep. The bedroom is also very bright in the morning, because there is only a thin white blind with gaps around the sides. Would have loved for the windows to have the beautiful wood shutters seen throughout the city to block the light and some of the noise.
