Located 25 minutes away from Positano. Taxis are rare and crazy expensive and the road has no sidewalks, so it can be a bit dangerous. The room was small and simple. When its windy it can be very noisy.
The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Other hotels inside Positano can cost 4x or 5x. Still, I would advise to stay in Sorrento and visit Positano for a day.
Wow!!! This is a stunning property! The views are amazing! You cannot beat the location. If you are hiking the “Path of the gods” the path drops you out about 100ft from this property. It is street level with only a few steps to descend down to get to your room(depending on the room)
This is truly the perfect hotel for your Amalfi coast experience. Is just 2 bus stops east of main Positano bus stop. The hotel is positioned on the hillside so there was no road noise. The hotel has multiple levels of gardens with orange and lemon trees. It has that amazing view you see in brochures of the Amalfi coast. Breakfast is served in the outside cafe overlooking the amazing water view with the city of Positano in the distance. Enjoyed the walk down to the nearby beach. Everyone was so helpful. Cannot say enough about this hotel.
25 minute walk to Positano, the buses are not reliable so be prepared to walk. Cleanliness was average, beautiful views from the entire property

This property has amazing views, is right above the beach and beach club, but it’s 20 minutes from town and there was no WiFi.

Got the room because it says close to ferry.
You have to hike and take a bus or both.
No transportation service available other than a bus stop 20 meters away.
Nice place with a view, not centrally located.
Have your transportation planned prior and don’t rely on the ferry.
The views are spectacular. The personnel very kind with limited english. The fact that I traveled with grown kids and only one key is provided and one has to climb 80 something steps up and down to open the door for them to come in the hotel is interesting. One gets accustomed to walk around 1.8 km to reach the beautiful town. We did have a wonderful time, and understandingly the summer is a very active time of the year. It is a clean place in a beautiful area limited by space and its geography, i would recommend it.
Very nice property. As in all of Positano, many stairs to reach the beach area. Staff was very helpful. As it is about 20 min walk outside Positano and far from restaurants, I highly recommend using the free dinner shuttle that La Maliosa has with 3 different restaurants. The restaurants are all pricey in this area, but you do not want to add on 2 one-way fares for taxi service which can be 30-35Euro each way. Taxi service is very expensive in this area and bus service is completely overcrowded. For a quiet get away in a beautiful area, La Maliosa is a very good bed and breakfast.
would just say that the propertly location is pretty far away from positano - 10-25 minute walk on a windy, somewhat dangerous road. definitely not safe to walk at night, and taxi drivers will rip you off and charge 30-40 euro for a 3 minute ride.
the property itself has a beautiful view of the water since everything in positano is on a cliff.
i had issues with my air conditioning unit - it really did not work for the entirety of my trip
positano is a beautiful place but just be mindful of the nature of the accommodations you are booking and be sure you know what you're getting
This has been the most wonderful stay. Felix and Ana are truly the best, so helpful in everything. They helped us get taxis & let us know what stores to go to if we needed anything. They also list all the restaurants that provide a free shuttle to and from the hotel, highly recommend you do that. The restaurants were fantastic & once you’re done they get you a shuttle back. We stayed for a full 10 days and we had no complaints. They helped us with our bags, they served the best lunch. Seriously 10/10. Felix is such a great chef. If you look in your book you’ll see he was in National Geographic. It was such a well kept hotel, they were always trimming the trees and cleaning the property, sweeping. They serve breakfast every morning & don’t skip out on the capuchinos. For everyone saying it’s not a 15 min walk, they are lying. It’s a close walk to the restaurants in Positano. Yes , there’s stairs but that’s everywhere in Positano. I would stay here again & again. I’m so sad to leave.
I have only the best things to say about La Maliosa! I stayed here with my boyfriend for 5 nights on our first trip to Italy, and it was the best introduction to Italy we could have asked for.
As soon as we arrived, the host greeted us with peach iced tea, and even though it was technically after lunch hours, they asked us if we were hungry and cooked us up some delicious pasta. Throughout our stay, the hosts were very attentive and always available for questions or if we just wanted an afternoon cappuccino. They were so lovely!
Our room was great, with a nice private courtyard and an incredible view of Positano. Sitting on the patio, it practically feels like you're on the water and it felt so cozy and peaceful. If you're looking for a luxurious hotel experience with lots of amenities, this might not be for you, but for us it was absolutely perfect. Way more affordable than the expensive hotels in the center of Positano, and nice and quiet! The walk to and from the center village really wasn't too bad (we did it 2x daily), and we joked that it was good cardio for us to work off all the delicious carbs we were indulging in!
I'd definitely stay here again and I'm so grateful to the hosts for providing us with a comfortable and wonderful stay. Thank you!
We loved the view from out bed and breakfast. It was quiet and relaxing. The hostess Anna is AMAZING! She helped book our taxis, reservations to resturants and shuttles to the resturants recommended by the b&b. She always let us know when pur car service was there.
Breakfast is included here. They offer lunch which you pay for when you check out. The food was delicious and homemade.
The mini fridge is fully stocked with water, soda, beer, wine, prosecco, limoncello, orange juice and aperol spritz. Whatever you drink from there you also pay at checkout but the prices are pretty affordable.
We can get to a beach straight from the b&b you have to walk down about 200 steps but its beautiful and people pay 600,000 Euros to go there.
You're about 18-20min walk from the Positano main area. There are many shops and restaurants thatare delicious.
We tried 2 out of the 4 resturants recommended from the b&b which were also amazing...La Gabrisa and Da Constatino.
We also ate at La Combusa and Don Giovanni which were also amazing.
The b&b also provides beach towels for 5,00 euros which was amazing.

Wow, simply amazing from the start to the ride to the airport. We can’t express our thanks enough for the hospitality of the family owned and run Positano accommodations set on the side of the sea. Absolutely clean, safe and beautiful from the rooms to the breakfast we enjoyed every second. Oh yes, the owner is a Chef, so take advantage of a personal lunch or dinner, yummy. Hope to return someday. Thank you
The property is pretty but it was difficult to get to from the boat landing with no instructions from the hotel. Felix made dinner reservations for us each night but he always seemed annoyed with us. That made the stay very uncomfortable.
