Clean, quiet rooms with a security system in each. Good location just off the main areas. Pool and other shared areas were clean. The host was lovely, and Sushi the cat who lives on the property was so friendly and cute! 100% would reccomend.

Susan was responsive, easy to communicate with, and helpful during check-in and throughout our stay. The rooms and common spaces are well kept, clean and spacious! The pool is a very nice option to have. The room was cute and perfect for our stay in Potrero. We spent most of our time touring around between beaches and the location is quite central, however, we found it was easier to rent a golf cart to relieve some of the walking. You can get anywhere pretty quick though by foot as well/using the beach. It would have been awesome if we had a place to plug-in/charge our golf cart at the casita but we worked our way around that! Definitely recommend staying here and thank you!!

we really enjoyed our stay here. The privacy and security was fantastic as every room has its own keys and own alarm system. It is walkable from the beach only about 10 minutes and even less of a walk from some great restaurants. The Rooms are clean and very cozy. We fell in love with Sushi the cat. She lives on the property and is the sweetest little thing. We really enjoyed ur stay and highly recommend to other travellers

Great property in a prime location! Food, beach, and vibes. All the restaurants Susan suggested to us didn’t disappoint. We would stay here again if we happen to visit the Guacanaste region sometime in the future and if you happen to stay at this facility, make sure you visit Playa Penca, it’s beautiful

Lots of friendly expats who frequent, but you’ll need a car to get most places. There are restaurants in safe walking distance, but no breakfast and it’s located a block or two down a dirt road.

Amazing stay! Small little apartment but just enough for a quick stay! Everything was very clean, the pool was nice to have right at your doorstep and Susan and the rest of the staff were very nice and welcoming!

Small place with 4 rentals. Very clean. AC worked. Good wifi. However the “kitchen” is outside. The fridge and stove top is in a shed. The sink is concrete and outside. The owners live on site and are constantly around.

Wish we had more time to spend here. The grounds were beautiful with tropical plants all around. The pool was sparkling clean. The room was spacious and cozy. We cooked dinner one night in the cutest little outdoor kitchen. It was equipped with everything we needed. It was conveniently located within walking distance to places to grab a bit to eat. Susan was just lovely. She was there to greet us at check-in and was extremely knowledgeable about Costa Rica. My favorite part was the family of monkeys that live in the trees surrounding the property and the other wildlife that love to hangout around the back fence. Definitely add this place to your list.

Susan was a great host. We really enjoyed our stay. Walked to Hemingway's on the beach, had a nice dinner while watching the sunset. Also took in Playa Conchal several days for amazing snorkeling.

My husband and I had a brief overnight stay at the property before meeting up with friends at another Potrero resort. Our host, Susan, was very responsive and our room itself was clean and spacious. The grounds are lovely, very private and quiet. There is a pool, ample seating, a BBQ, and hammocks. There is a little shed where you can fix your own coffee and breakfast. The only thing to be aware of is that the property is on a sidestreet with only a small sign on the front gate which is hard to see if you’re arriving at night (as we did). It’s a bit of a walk back to the main intersection if you’re looking for food. All in all - a very relaxed stay perfect for more independent travelers!
