Beautiful secluded cabin

Our stay was incredible! I love how off the grid the cabin was. We enjoyed the quiet and we were one with nature. I highly recommend this cabin for lovers of nature!

Perfect private stay next to St Regis River

Wonderful private spot next to St Regis River. Very responsive host. There are 2 or 3 other rentals in the property, but it is so large that you get all the privacy. Hiking trails and canoes/kayaks in the property. Star Link Internet is fast and the cabin is just as it looks in the pictures: cozy, well thought, peaceful, private. Would 100 percent recommend and can't wait to go back!

Starting with the turn down the wooded driveway, a feeling of peace quickly descended upon us. From the constant white noise of the river, the beautiful scenery, and the comfortable, serene cabin, everything put me at ease. We took advantage of the amenities: the fire pit, the river tram/swimming hole, the sauna, and the amazing lookout. We're already lamenting having to leave so soon and plan to be back (maybe bringing our S.O.s this time!) in the future. Well worth the jaunt!

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle!

Really enjoyed the place! If you are looking for peace and quiet then you need to book this cabin. Sit out on the screened in porch or take a nap out there as well and listen to the St. Regis River run over the rocks. Plenty of acreage that Louie and Sandy have to walk along the established trails and take in the smells of the Adirondack forest. Just down the road is the Catherineville State Forest 1600 acres to explore as well as Sylvan Falls. Potsdam is about 20-25 mins away with some good restaurant choices. If you book this cabin you will not be disappointed. So sit back, relax and enjoy the view of the river.

Private getaway in the woods near river

This family of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin is surrounded by trees with a beautiful view of the St. Regis river which you can hear throughout the cabin. There are lovely hiking trails around the property (I believe about 4 miles of trails). The cabin is cozy and warm. The weather for our stay was a bit too chilly to enjoy the screened in porch but I imagine in warmer weather it would be a lovely place to sit. There is no TV (the Wifi works great) so bring a book or game. The kitchen is well appointed and great for making a meal. The description of the property/cabin is accurate; I highly recommend this off the grid cabin as an excellent place to getaway!
