The perfect stay for our annual holiday, celebrating our 28th anniversary - We would usually go abroad, but this accommodation did not disappoint! Relaxing, warm, had everything we needed, and more. Fruit trees in the garden, private hot tub and games room with pool table, lovely snug cave with open fire, not to mention, the most delicious, home baked cake, waiting for us on arrival (which didn't last long between the two of us!) The only set back for us was the WiFi, as we have to keep up with our business, but, I had already read other reviews, so were aware this may be the case, we just adapted and used the Internet when out and about, but it can become a little frustrating. Lovely place to stay, only issues were one of the beds was uncomfortable and the WiFi isn't great which isn't an issue on sunny days but when it rains, it meant we couldn't watch a film. We are a family group of 9 ie 6 adults and 3 young children and each year we try to have a weekend away in a barn type accommodation. We all agreed that Carr End Barn was the cleanest, best equipped and best laid out of all the ones we have stayed in so far. There was even a delicious welcoming cake for us when we arrived and the owners were very friendly and readily gave good advice about local amenities. Outside there is a lovely patio area with a hot tub, den/cave and dining set. The inside is very spacious and, very thoughtfully, there are games and dvds for the children. There is also a wood burning stove giving atmosphere on chilly evenings. One minor point is that there was not a sign at the gate of the property indicating that you had arrived but apart from that we would have no hesitation in recommending Carr End Barn.

We had a lovely week in Carr end Barn Cottage ,the owners were so accommodating ,when we arrived the owners had left a lovely home made cake for us which was very nice ,the cottage was beautifully clean .The hot tub was an added bonus for the grandchildren.i will stay again without a doubt.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and well furnished. The downstairs accommodation worked perfectly for our elderly parents who joined us, yet there was a super snug area upstairs for the children to enjoy. The excellent use of space meant that the accommodation suited all age ranges and the fantastic open plan kitchen was lovely for evening cooking with a glass of wine! A lovely enclosed garden and fantastic hottub were just perfect after a day exploring the local area. Lots to do on the doorstep and a pub and corner shop within easy walking distance. We will definitely return and can highly recommend.

Great place everything you need is catered for, HOT TUB Brill, big thank you too Simon for allowing lads to use snooker table really good. Again big thank you to Simon nothing was to much trouble for him and this really made for a great break definatley book again
