「cool historic property. Just know that your room is going to face a busy major Fargo street, regardless of which room you are assigned. The rooms have no sound proofing. (more on that later). Fargo is a major motorcycle city in the summer, so, traffic and loud bikes, until around sunset, are it seems almost constant. Back to the noise. Staying on the 2nd level, the first level with guest rooms, the sound of the occupant in the room above me was also quite irritating. Whoever had that room...

「It was an unexpected respite from the road. From decor to local shop partnerships in the first-floor space. Loved the bonus hangout space on the second floor. Would stay again without a doubt!」

「Staff was excellent. Didn’t like people off the street coming in to swim. We didn’t feel comfortable with some in the pool. Hot tube was excellent. I wouldn’t pit towels all over, keep on shelve. Didn’t know if someone was sitting there. Room was excellent.」

「Sadly our room was not cleaned thoroughly—our bathroom had used towels hanging in it and toothpaste on the vanity. There was no shampoo in the container hanging in the shower. The bathroom needed obvious repairs done as well. The bedspreads had questionable stains on them. When I told the lady at the front desk about the bathroom she did apologize and stated she “told them to finish cleaning that room yesterday.” No discounts offered or anything to try to make it right.」

「The hotel is being remodeled, but it did not interfere with my stay. My room was clean, the staff was helpful, and my nights sleep was excellent. The breakfast the next morning was beter than expected at a hotel. I was unsure when I saw that there was some renovation going on when I stopped, but I am glad I did. I had a very nice stay and would gladly stop in again. Also, very reasonable price!」

The last room of the hotel, it seems like a lot of remodeling is going on. But we should’ve been notified how far away our room was when we checked in and asked for help.」
