Our 2nd visit to Woodpecker Cottage and we'll be back again.

Our 2nd visit to Woodpecker Cottage and we'll be back again. Gorgeous lodge, fabulous hot tub and spotlessly clean.We walked many miles over the 3 day stay as the area has so many great hikes in close proximity.Everything is catered for, kitchen is really well equipped and the sunrise/ sunset views from the lodge are simply stunning. Thank you Sally and Rob for another excellent stay.

The most beautiful cottage in the most beautiful place. The cottage itself was amazing. Everything was quality and so many little touches that you didn’t expect. Have never stayed in such a well equipped holiday let. It was lovely and warm and cosy despite the cold. The hot tub was a dream - such a wonderful addition.The grounds and location of the cottage was divine. The wildlife on your doorstep as you sat cosy drinking bubbles was heavenly! The owl in the garden stole our hearts.Cannot recommend this cottage and it’s lovely hosts enough x

What a beautiful place to stay! We loved it so much.

What a beautiful place to stay! We loved it so much. The accommodation was spotless and spacious, and had amazing views to the surrounding countryside. The underfloor heating kept the rooms lovely and warm but we did try the log burner too which made it even cosier. There were plenty of towels for the hot tub and even though we stayed in winter it was lovely and hot with breathtaking views to the lake. Sally made sure we had a welcome bottle of fizz and some milk to make a cuppa with and the key collection was very straightforward too. Our only downside was that we had to leave! But we would definitely be back again. Just the place for a relaxing getaway.

Just returned from a 4 night stay.

Just returned from a 4 night stay. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and allowed fishing on their land, my grandson caught his 1st ever fish. The weather was amazing so no need to use the wood burner. Views from the patio were amazing. Hot tub was heaven and very relaxing. The cottage itself was very spacious and the cleanliness on arrival was spotless. Kitchen facilities were brilliant, cupboards were stocked well with crockery, cups/glasses and kitchenware for cooking and even a jar of dog biscuits for my dog. Beds and bedding were extremely comfortable and there was an excellent amount of luxury towels provided. Both bathrooms were lovely with the option of 2 different shower heads. Only a 35 min drive to Blackpool and just over a 10 min drive to the main shops. Would have loved to seen some more of the local features but weather was too hot to go out anywhere.Thanks Sally and Rob for an amazing time
