The double-aspect floor to ceiling windows flood the barn with natural light and offer a wonderful homely feel.
Upon entering Folley's Barn, you are welcomed into the large, yet cosy, open-plan living space. The comfy sofas and armchairs that adorn the sitting area are the perfect place to relax – offering a comfortable seat for you to sit back with a book from the shelves, or watch your favourite movie together. The wooden dining table is central to the open-plan living space and offers comfortable seating up to six guests, making it the perfect place for those special family celebrations and holiday meals. The kitchen is well-equipped and boasts a central island where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee whilst you plan the day ahead. French doors open out from the dining area to the wonderful terrace and mature garden.
Upstairs are two well-appointed bedrooms; the principle bedroom offers a cloud-like super-king size bed, whilst across the mezzanine landing the second bedroom boasts a double bed and is serviced by an en-suite shower room. The large family bathroom has a bath and separate walk-in shower.
The rear terrace is surrounded by pretty hedging and mature shrubs, ensuring total privacy whilst you relax on the garden furniture after a day exploring, or enjoy a morning coffee whilst listening to the sounds of the countryside enveloping Folley's Barn.
Famous as the location for Agatha Christie's Miss Marple, and for being the back drop for many Midsummer Murder Mysteries, the beautiful village of Bledlow is steeped in history and full of rural character and tradition. Set back from the quiet village road and through a private gated driveway, Folly's Barn is one of three individual properties at Manor Farm. With an 11th century church, pub, cricket club, and the Lyde gardens only a short walk away, you will truly be able to experience quintessential English village life, including use of the tennis court in the grounds of the Manor House during weekdays 9am-5pm (available on request; guests will need to provide their own racquets and tennis balls). Additionally guests of Folley's Barn can enjoy a weekday guided tour of the Bledlow Manor House gardens.
