「Loved everything about this wilderness retreat. From the adventurous drive up the ridge to the stunning and clean place and then walking the one mile trail through the woods around the house. We saw a baby fawn and lots of blooming mountain laurels. Then we relaxed in the hammock and after that watched the sunset from the swing. 「We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, quiet, lots of songbirds and squirrels. It was stocked with movies, coffee and tea bags, a few sodas, and brownies. WiFi was great. We got to play games with my 85 year old mom in the kitchen. We went the wrong direction (my fault), but Anita’s directions were easy from I-77. We look forward to our next visit!」

「We were just looking for a place to stay overnight and did not want to get a hotel, so we did not need much. The location was lovely, accomodations were fine. Did not need a full kitchen so what was available was fine. Would stay here again!」

If you want hot water for showering after the trails you may want to check first as the water heater continues went out and needed to contact owner on occasion.」

I gave the location a 4 out 5 because if you’re looking for a location that has many restaurants/stores you will need to drive about 15-20 minutes. No big deal to do that. We would stay here again.」
