Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Williamsburg East (Busch Gardens), VA
8/10 Good
"Hotel parking lot is half destroyed by tree roots and appears under construction. Pool wasn't open, but looked like they are cleaning it or something. We arrived about 40-45mins after 3pm check-in, and rooms were not ready. Another family appeared to to have been waiting ahead of us. They were polite enough to apologize and provide explanation that the hotel had a couple bud loads of people that had checked out that morning. It was not a long wait, but we were moved rooms from what I overheard. The hotel store is very minimal, but meets simple needs. Our room was clean and in order. We paid weekend prices and likely. More because it was one night and not the weekend. I would say that the location is great in relation to Busch Gardens and access to 64 for travelling. It's accessible enough to go through to town for food, shopping, and entertainment. "

"Excellent location and service."

Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg
10/10 Excellent
"Very comfortable apartment. I really appreciated the 2 bedroom/2 bath layout since I was traveling with my sister. No amenities to speak of in the off season. (I was hoping for a relaxing soak in the hot tub one night but there were screaming children everywhere, including an apparently unsupervised 4 or 5 year old in the tub.) We did appreciate the electric car charger--it was slow but our room was close enough we could leave the car overnight. There was an attractive outdoor deck but there was no way we could go out there; it was literally swarming with giant carpenter bees."

Graduate by Hilton Richmond
2/10 Terrible
"Absolutely awful experience at the Graduate Richmond, especially for a room that cost over $300 a night.
The bathroom was filthy when we arrived — dusty, grimy, and just plain nasty. Conditioner was completely empty. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. For the price they charge, basic cleanliness should not be optional. Dust all over the shelves in the Suite, and just all around did not look clean or turned over properly
The valet staff was horrible as we were leaving. Rude, Disorganized, unhelpful, and made an already frustrating stay even worse.
To top it all off, I was charged twice for the same room, and nobody there could give me a straight answer on how to fix it. Being double-charged for an already overpriced room and then getting no real help is completely unacceptable.
I also paid extra for breakfast and never received it. So not only was the room dirty and the service terrible, but I was charged for things I didn’t even get.
For over $300 a night, this place was a complete disappointment. Dirty room, terrible service, billing issues, and zero accountability. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone."

The Jefferson Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A wonderful stay at the Jefferson. In a great location, spacious rooms, clean bathrooms."

Studio 6 Richmond Airport
2/10 Terrible
"I had a long day flying and came into my room and immediately went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning and went to use the sink in the shower there was hair all over the sink and bathtub that was not mine. It was disgusting and when I asked the woman on duty about it, she said that I needed to call back on Friday to speak to the manager."
