"Elisa's cottage is a thoughtfully curated place with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in Panicale. She is an incredibly responsive host, and we truly felt like her guests. She greeted us with a bottle of local wine and even sent some fresh eggs round during our stay which were delicious!We were there during a heat wave which meant the air conditioning in two rooms (the bedroom and the lovely sitting area) was a welcome feature. "Location: well off the beaten track, high on the hillside. You can sometimes hear the road far below, but the aspect is lovely. The property: The Nest is beside the Tower, and discreetly placed among trellis-work, with its own private space. However, the access out to the pool and the gardens is so simple. "The house is ideal for a couple or family with up to 3 children. It is off the beaten track but that is its charm. The views are senational and the house lacks for nothing for self catering. The local town Spello is only 10 minutes drive away and is charming with excellent restaurants, interesting shops and and sights. Most impottantly, Nadia, the owner is the most conscientious and solicitous of host. She speaks admirable English and visited every other day to check we were OK and to to clean...
