“Lovely old mountain house with great pizza oven and stone built BBQ. The gardens are great and the pool was amazing. THAT VIEW!! you feel like you are swimming in the mountains. We even saw fire flies at night. ”

“This stay was idyllic and everything that was promised. Privacy, serenity and beautiful surroundings. Loads to do in the area and off the beaten track enough to have a sanctuary from tourism. Susan was the hostess with the mostess. Always there for suggestions, but never intruding. Her family are quintessential Italian and we loved hearing her grandchildren calling each other across the garden, hearing the neigh of the horses and next doors donkey in the distance. If you like some solitude……

“Nous avons passés 2 semaines dans la casa Mimi afin de visiter la Toscane et ce reposer. Je dirais que l'annonce correspond exactement à la réalité. L'accueil était parfait, les gens très sympathique. Nous avons profité de cette maison avec un soleil magnifique, c'est un endroit central pour visiter la Toscane. “Die Casa Metato liegt oberhalb von Castiglione di Garfagnana, man hat einen fantastischen Blick auf das Tal und die umliegenden Berge. Das Haus selbst ist blitzsauber und mit allem, was man für die Selbstversorgung benötigt, ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam. Gabriele hat uns über WhatsApp mit sehr guten Ausflugstipps versorgt und seine Eltern haben uns überaus freundlich begrüßt. Das Haus wurde während unseres Aufenthalts geputzt, der Pool mehrfach gereinigt, aber immer mit……
