The place is beautiful but the check in process is inconvenient. it is best to check in Las Palomas instead of driving downtown to Casago. Also i was told thru VRBO communication that I can pick up the second vehicle parking pass and wrist band and that was not true. Also the Bunk room is claustrophobic with no air circulating well..

I loved staying here! Everything was very well explained, it was easy to get in touch with the host when we needed to, and the condo was just beautiful! We had another group staying at a different property in the same building and we just loved the way our place was decorated and the layout of it all. Definitely recommend!

we had 3 different families staying at las palomas and they all booked their stay through vrbo. ours was the only one with a different check in process. We had to check in down the street at casago. We were told we wouldn't be guaranteed an early check in but that they would text us our door code when the room was available. I understand that but they literally texted us the code right at 4pm. It would have been better if they just told us the room would be ready at 4. We arrived in our unit to find there was a huge leak in the kitchen ceiling. we called into casago and they said "it's probably condensation because of the humidity, make sure to keep the doors and windows shut". we told them it was more than just "condensation" and they sent multiple people from maintenance all saying "it wasn't that way 30 minutes ago". I don't believe the maintenance crew is thorough in their cleaning and review of the rooms before check in. i also don't believe this was a new issue because there was mold on the kitchen floor around where the water was piling. they did eventually repair the leak and wasn't an issue the rest of the stay. There was also a weird whistling sound coming from the sliding glass door as if the door wasn't fully sealed. the sound went on our entire stay. the listing did say to bring our own beach towels but we assumed we could get pool towels at least. at the pool we were told that based on our wristbands we did not qualify to get pool towels

Stay on Mothers Day wknd

Las palomas is a beautiful over all grate place however the condo itself had little roaches in the kitchen area, they came out around the drive and certain drawers to the left of the stoce. Tonel situation was a hassle.

Great stay on the beach!

Everything was as promised. Unit was spacious, clean, comfortable, and the balcony was amazing. Check-in was off site which was an added step but it was easy with the well communicated instructions from the host!

Not what I expected

The room had very great views and the rooms were as advertised but the master bedroom restroom smelled like sewage it was awful. The remote for the master bedroom we couldn’t find. The cleaning of the room daily was not it the first day they came into the room as we were In the bedroom asleep the next day they only cleaned 2 rooms instead of the three and when we told the front office they sent some one at 8pm which it was unnecessary at that point. Until the 2nd to last day they cleaned well. The underground parking lot was nice but smelled horrible again like sewage overall a good stay!

Our first ever disappointing stay at Las Paloma’s

My family & I visit the resort almost yearly & have always had amazing experiences with the booking, check in, the staff & the condos themselves. This visit unfortunately was very different. It was primarily due to this unit. I do not recommend renting it. I called ahead to ask if early check in (2hrs) was possible & if not we planned to go into town for lunch. We were told the unit was ready so we planned to just make lunch in the unit. After waiting in line over 30min we finally got to a person & were told the room was not ready & we would need to kill 2 hrs & get back in line to get keys later. We were hungry & this process took more than 1hr to wrap up before we could leave to go get food nearby. Frustrating but not the end of the world. The unit itself was the biggest issue. We thought we encountered only 2 issues at first, but it was the entire place. All of our feet were black with dirt within min of walking in & the patio door was stuck shut. Spots on the mirrors. The bedside lamp shade was hanging & broken, the 3rd “room” had no place for clothes or a suitcase, its door was busted in one panel & wouldn’t lock. The big decor on the wall was missing, all furniture in the home is scuffed & clearly had major wear & tear. The AC broke on our 2nd night & sounded like a garbage disposal even after. The tvs couldn’t connect. It felt like a low budget jenky place, not at all like Las Palomas we know & love. This unit is overpriced & rundown. So bummed about this one.

Phenomenal views
