Sea level family retreat

This is truly a Mexican Casita with a central Great Room design under a beautiful brick dome ceiling. The home is colorfully appointed with Mexican decor. Original rustic furniture has been upgraded to comfortable leather sofas and chair. The upstairs Master Bedroom (Calif. King) has a walk-in shower and a decorative fireplace. The second upstairs bedroom has a King size bed and the garage level master bedroom has 2 full size beds, one with a Twin upper bunk. The downstairs Bedroom opens out to the Gated courtyard and has an inside stair access to the upper level. The upper level opens out to the large back yard which is ideal for BBQ or for sand lot volley ball, badmitten, horseshoes, etc.

It is a short 2 minute walk to the waters edge at the beautiful Sea of Cortez. Take the beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, kayaks (3) and rubber raft and enjoy the day relaxing on the beach or playing in the sea water. Back at the house rinse off in the outdoor shower and enjoy the upper sun deck, the main level patio deck or the Courtyard area which is ideal for children and pets. Bring a bag of ice from town for blender beverages.

The home has WiFi so you can stay connected while enjoying down time near the Sea of Cortez! The ISP is Telcel and their fiber optic system is proven to be reliable. There is an Amazon Fire Stick connected to TV for you to use with your log in to Amazon. There are exterior only security cameras at entry points (Blink) that we use for periods of vacancy and to assist with any check in issues as well as coordination of cleaning services.

Good stay for the weekend

Spent Father's day weekend here with my in-laws. Location of house is great. Easy walk down to beach & it was perfect as it wasn't so rocky, the kids loved it. The breaker to the water tripped, messaged host & he responded quickly, sent his cleaning lady & got it going in no time. Our ONLY concern would be the cleanliness of the bathrooms(toilets) & the drain smell. Otherwise good stay!

Family Vacation

Great place, 2 minute walk to the beach and beautiful views from the home. Beds we're very comfortable. We made our meals in the home very well stocked with kitchen utensils. Just make sure to bring your own seasoning or any ither cooking condiments

Beautiful home

Such a beautiful house close to the beach. My favorite thing to do was sit on the balcony and watch the ocean. Beds were very comfortable and I’m very picky when it comes to beds. Thank you for letting us use your beach casita.

Birthday Vacation

This property was beautiful! Jeff was an awesome host…2 min walk to the beach which is gorgeous took the kayaks and fished out there got a couple fish! 10-12 mins drive to the Malecon and Playa Hermosa not so far out. The water is super warm. Everything was GREAT! Great property to stay I will definitely be coming back again!!

Great mini vacay

We rented the house in hopes it was close to a wedding we were staying at. It was perfect. Very short walking distance to the beach and walking distance to the wedding. Loved the 3rd floor balcony to enjoy the scenery and watch the sunrise and sunset.

We loved our family get away, the beach was just a very short walk from the house, and really enjoyed the umbrellas and chairs that were available in the garage for us to use. There was some that were broken and cannot be used. I had some questions and the owner was very quick to respond. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Relaxing weekend

Our stay was perfectly fine for our chill getaway weekend. Friendly neighbors, easy access to beach, plenty of parking to secure our truck / trailer and side by side. Will definitely stay here again. Nice clean beach and house had everything to make feel at home.

House was beautiful, it is older but still awesome. The stairs to the garage are steep to the 3rd bedroom but we navigated them fine. Not for small children or someone with limitations. Wagon chairs kayak. Very convenient. Our dogs loved it. Lots of room for our large kennel. Balcony was beautiful. Short walk to beach.

Our stay was amazing.

We arrived a little early and had lunch in town then went on to the house. Easy to find and roads were good. Instructions to home were easy. We arrived to a beautiful home. Spacious and all the views were amazing. The beach was a quick walk away with easy access. Maria and Enrique were amazing. We called them twice and the arrived promptly and were very gracious. Maria's personality was so fun and friendly. My family and I just adore her. We will surely be back. Thank you.

Lovely home and very quick response

We had an amazing time. The house was so nice and well stocked. We had an issue with the hot water the first night. I emailed the owner and within a very short time everything was solved. They were very attentive and helpful. I would strongly recommend staying here.

Good price & close to beach, simple changes could make it better

The place is older and feels old. DONT stay here if you're ALLERGIC TO DOGS. Stay could have been much better with better communication. My husband and I are good with directions, been to Mexico lots, and could not find it in the dark with his instructions. Luckily friends had stayed there earlier and they helped us The directions are NOT good enough, beware. The owner should give turn-by-turn directions with pictures or a video. Also, there should be notes around the place explaining things. We had to light the stove with matches but there was nothing explaining this or where the matches were. A simple note taped to the cupboard would have saved stress. Asked the owner, didn't get a response in time, had to drive into town to find matches. Later found them in a cupboard. Frustrating. The water in the drinking cooler was warm. After a day or so we found the switch to turn on the cooler on the back. A simple note would have told us that. The walk to the beach is short and no problem. But, the beach closest to the house is ROCKY. You must take water shoes. Our group had bloody feet and legs from the rocks. There are rocks if there is high tide or low tide. This is a big disadvantage. When you get there map out where there aren't rocks and try to avoid them. There was no table for us to eat at. We set up a folding table and camp chairs in the house but it was not comfortable. A couple of us have asthma. The second I walked in my throat tightened up. I used my rescue inhaler every 4 hours all stay. This place allows dogs. There were little hairs that stuck to me when I sat on the couch (overall the place felt clean but old). There are rugs all around that I am sure have dog allergens on them. This place is not for people ALLERGIC TO DOGS. It is a decent price and a decent walk to the beach. I wanted to leave a review so that with some preparations you can have a good stay.

Lovely home.

The place was lovely and had many unexpected items for the beach that were appreciated. The bed on the east side of the home was extra firm and we were not able to sleep on it though. Overall, we had a much needed rest in a beautiful home . Thank you!

It was a good location and house.

It's a good place and your typical Los Conchas 30+ year old house. The house was fine, but needs some minor cosmetic repairs. We didn't notice in the listing or comments, but the 3rd bedroom suite is in the basement, off the garage. Lots of beach toys and bicycles in the garage and pleaunty of parking. We would stay here again.

Girls weekend in Rocky Point

This home was perfect for our getaway. Important notes, it was a bit difficult to find due to the road layouts in Rocky Point. Turn right at the sign that says Section 12/13. The area security person was amazing in providing us contact to a taxi guy that not only did some shopping for us but also drove us to all events for the weekend, a true blessing. Walking distance to the beach, bring the wagon for sure. (in the garage) the third bedroom with two beds is down in the garage. The tempature is fine but you may not want your smaller children staying down there. Overall VERY pleased with the experience of this home and very much enjoyed the Balcony.
