What a lovely hotel. Owners on site, great communication from the start. Amazing breakfast. Recommendations for restaurants, activities, taxi service given. Room felt just like home. Super spacious, comfortable, modern decor, great AC + fan, sofa to watch movie on TV wt streaming apps & fast Wifi. Felt well rested. Restaurants, grocery store and more in walking distance. This is a lovely little hidden gem, slightly off the beaten path, but close enough to the heart of Puerto Plata to still be convenient. The hotel is bright and welcoming, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The area is safe and walkable to shopping and numerous dining options, and the beach is a 25 minute walk away. The owners are wonderful people who genuinely care about the comfort of their guests. They provided lots of great information about the area, and they were very responsive to our needs and requests during our stay. To top it all off, they serve a delicious daily breakfast. We can't recommend Gaia Residence highly enough!

Petit hotel neuf et impeccable tenu par des propriétaires charmants et attentifs aux besoins de leur clients. Nous avions une chambre incluant un sofa-lit qui était très grande, avec boiseries de confection locale et décoration moderne. Encore plus beau que sur les photos. Le seul aspect négatif est que l’hôtel est à l’écart des plages. Il y a supermarché et restaurants à proximité. Merci de l’accueil exceptionnel!

Absolute recommendation!

Brand new house, all is in best condition. The gated community is in construction, so: the streets are still unpaved (but this is no issue). The location, a bit outside the city but still in walking distance, is good (one is fastly out of the crowded city). The rooms are very spacious, the breakfast is individual (and great), the staff fantastic - I will come back if possible!
