The hotel was nice and well maintained. The grounds crew worked on the property daily to ensure a nice appearance. The staff were all very friendly.
I felt the price was not worth it though. It was an expensive hotel to stay in, the bar with food and drinks were overpriced. Expedia marked this hotel as reserve now pay later with no deposit required and free cancelation up to several days prior to stay. About two months prior to my stay, I got a Whatsapp message directly from the hotel requiring 50% for a deposit and that should I cancel, I would only get 50% of that refunded back. When I questioned it and even contacted an Expedia representative, the Expedia rep contacted the hotel and later informed me that I had to pay the deposit. I was very upset with Expedia because they falsely advertised the listing and did not support the agreement I signed onto. I refused to pay the deposit, which later the hotel receptionist allowed my reservation to commence without a deposit.
The place is very beautiful. We had a 3 bedroom unit with private pool. The last night of our stay, we saw a small white mouse scurrying around inside of our unit that caused several in our party to be unsettled for the remainder of our stay.
Overall, the property is nice. The lounge area by the bar and beach is very relaxing and nice. And the staff are extra friendly. But I feel it overpriced with a feeling of having a lack of privacy and would not stay here again.
