Deluxe beachfront two bedroom suite with endless views.

The Horizonte Suite (on the second floor of our beach house) has stunning and panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass ocean views. You'll enjoy endless horizon sunsets looking past Coral Island in Jaltemba Bay from your private, shaded deck. Our beach house "La Esquina Perezosa" (Slowpoke Corner), is in an authentic, friendly and safe residential neighbourhood. This suite is right on beach and so the sound of the waves will ebb and flow with the tide over the course of every day.

From street level you can walk directly out into the warm and sheltered waters of the bay.

Contemporary in style, accented with with authentic Mexican handicrafts and beautiful textiles, the suite is on the second floor of our beach house.

There are two bedrooms two bedrooms, two ensuite bathrooms, and a full entertaining style kitchen on the second floor of the house. Each bedroom has a Queen size beds with a comfortable memory foam mattress topper, and high quality sheets, and four pillows on each bed.

Traditional tiled and vaulted Mexican ceiling has four ceiling fans to keep your cool. Open the glass doors to allow the sea breeze through the rooms. The bedrooms, also in traditional Mexican building style, have high walls for privacy that have space for air to flow through the entire suite.

There is also a back deck that overlooks our garden courtyard and cool plunge pool.

This suite is literally right on the beach and so the sound of the waves will ebb and flow with the tide over the course of every day.

One flight of stairs must be climbed from street level.

Remote working options. There is a work appropriate sideboard in the living room and a folding table and desk chair can be provided for use upon asking. The patio furniture is also suitable for computer work.

April 2025 - new fiber internet with wifi has been installed in the house. This service it less prone to outages compared to the previous Telmex service.

We loved La Penita, wonderful town, beautiful beaches, lots of fun restaurants and bars, bustling Centro. If you are up for walking, you can get to Centro easily, and taxis are readily available and cheap.This property has a huge balcony as close to the beach as you can get anywhere. Perfect for sunsets and birds and we even spotted a couple whales. However, the pictures provided must be from some time ago. The tables and chairs shown on the balcony and in the dining area are now cheap plastic chairs. The railing around the balcony is so rusted out it's dangerous, besides looking terrible. We never went in the little pool, it's not inviting. The inside was much as shown, it was fine. There is a large condo going up right next door. It's still just a shell. Workers are there 6 days a week and it mostly wasn't a bother, just occasional hammering or sawing. However, one day they were pouring cement and we had to leave for the day it was so loud. I would be a little leery going back because the condos are so far from being done and you could end up with something really noisy going on during your stay. It's too bad, with a little maintenance and no construction next door, it would be a great place.

There was a loss of water during our stay which turned out to be a broken undergound pipe. Ana, the property manager handled it beautifully. She was in constant communication with us and diligent in getting the problem solved. She made sure we had water most of the time.

Tout a été dit sur cette location. Nous avons tellement eu un coup de cœur que le lendemain de notre arrivée, nous avons réservé pour l'an prochain. I would like to start of by saying that this property is situated right on the beach and at times the waves become very loud. But the view is incredible! The pictures of this unit both inside and out are not accurate. The only soft surface to sit on is the couch. The outside furniture and the dining room furniture are hard plastic chairs. Very uncomfortable. The bathrooms need some attention. The cooking pans need to be replaced. For the price of this unit and the details provided on VRBO we were disappointed in what was provided.

Do not stay. Booked a beach view unit that we couldnt stay in. The air-conditioning was not effective and we felt very unsafe to have the doors open during the night for fresh air. We were told it was being fixed. They didnt. We were moved to a substandard unit at night no discount offered. Very sad with the standard of the unit. Do not stay.

Wonderful views, fabulous location, excellent stay

Let me begin by saying we experienced excellent communication with staff whom we met upon our arrival. The property is steps from the beach. The water was very pleasant with inviting, gentle waves. The large second floor patio afforded us the opportunity to take many photos of the stunning sunsets. There are stairs you must climb to reach your accommodations. If you take it slow, the handrails will be handy. We are in our 70’s and had no problems. There were keys given so we could lock ourselves in during the night or out. Los Pecadores is perfect for any length of days or weeks stay. It is equipped with a full kitchen, beautiful living room and 2 bedrooms each with there own bathrooms. The beds were made with high end sheets, plenty of pillows and blankets if you need them. Bring your own shampoo, bar of soap and wash clothes. Beach towel are provided. Internet was excellent. The traditional split air condition worked well after 6 pm. Fans were located in every room. However, our visit was during August the warmest month of the year and quite uncomfortable. We will arrange our stay next time during a more pleasant month. We were very selective when we used the air. Over excess incurred additional charges. Loved the plunge pool. We did not use the washer or dryer. Be aware that there is some construction occurring next door during the day. Keep in mind, this is price for progress, growth and jobs THANK YOU to the outstanding staff!!

Peaceful Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfectly quiet and authentically local experience we were looking for after a week in the resort area of Puerto Vallarta. Beautiful views of the water, large terrace that captured the breeze. Air conditioning and fans kept things cool. Nice little pool. hidden gem experience

we absolutely fell in love with La Peñita. we met great people and ate amazing foods. we didn’t rent a car and found it very easy to get everywhere we needed to go with just a short walk on the beach to downtown. the view, public beach, and mangoes were my favorite parts of the whole stay. we were able to have a much needed break from our own reality while experiencing mexican culture. will be visiting again soon!

Perfect Getaway!

Our stay at this property was so enjoyable! The views from the porch are incredible and the home has everything you need. It is a very close walk into town with tons of great options for food. We took several trips around the area (San Pancho, Sayulita, Rincón de Guayabitos) which are easily reached by taxi. Gerardo was so helpful throughout the stay if we had any questions. I highly recommend this area.

Can’t get any closer to the water !

This is a very comfortable apartment right on the ocean. The view is incredible and the big balcony is where we spent most of our time. Having said that, it gets loud with the waves crashing below you and sometimes it was even hard to carry a conversation ! The check in process was good, Gerardo replied promptly to the messages and showed us the place. The two bedrooms are separated by a pony wall, so it doesn’t give a lot of privacy, but it’s great for the airflow. The beds were very comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. It took a bit to figure out the hot water situation. When you first turn on the tap, you get lots of hot water that turns cold very quickly. Turn it off for 30 seconds to a minute and then turn it on again, and the water is warm . The kitchen had everything we needed and bottled water was provided. We didn’t really use the common space in the courtyard, except for the washing machine, which was pretty handy. We’ll definitely return here, on our next trip !

The location can not be beat!

The house is very nice,in an excellent location with a lovely deck. The furniture is not as shown. The chairs are all hard plastic. It would be nice if they, and the lounge chairs had cushions. Anna did bring us some old cushions to use during our stay so that was much better. We very much enjoyed our time in this lovely little town!

Perfect Location

This property is in the perfect location with a stunning view. The beds are extremely comfortable. The outdoor space is very spacious. Great place to stay. Fabulous views from balcony ... hard to leave and comfortable to hang out. Couldn't be any closer to the beach ... sleep with waves crashing. Easy walk into town and around. Better than expected

Wasn't sure what to expect....the pictures don't show much. This place is in a great location. 10 minute walk into town either on the streets or by beach. The patio is huge overlooking the beach that is easy to swim in. We will be back.
