Construction noise was unbearable

I booked this property pre Covid 1/9/20. I do not recall a “construction noise” disclosure and when asked for one I was sent one that stated Covid 19 restrictions and the listing was taken off Vrbo. Obviously there was no Covid restriction in Mexico 1/9/20. This construction noise was unbearable. I could not even hear conversations within the unit. When asked to move to a quieter unit somewhere else I was refused a refund by the owner. From 8:30am till 6:00 pm Monday thru Saturday jackhammers! So if you want a vacation where you feel you are getting a root canal in your living space, this is the condo for you. The management company PVPVR just gave me the run around.

Very nice condo

Super close to everything, in a nice modern building. Would stay again. All the construction near the building is done now, however the area is still quite noisy with traffic/bars/clubs. If you're a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend staying on this street or area in general. I've stayed in the area before and I doesn't bother me personally. The condo itself is very nice, however I did notice a lot of the walls are banged up with marks from furniture. Not a big deal but it doesn't looks super nice. The condo could probably use a fresh coat of paint.
