We've traveled with 3yo kid. And it's a great place for the family trip. You can find 3 restaurants in this resort. Food was fresh and tasty, variety of healthy food (meat, veggies, fish, seafood, beans). Want to mention Alfredo, Israel and Ivan M. Excellent service! Beach is nice, good for kids, big enough. Entertainment. Evening show programs were interesting. Actors are professionals, the acrobatic perfomence was perfect. We also enjoyed a comic show, the great program.

Our room smelled like mold and had moisture the entire stay. Like our beds and chairs in the room stayed wet the entire time. Not sure if was from the air conditioner. The mold was mad you can see it in the walls. The smell is also in our clothes. This is so unsafe and a health concern!

My partner and I, as well as two other couples, stayed at Melia PVR for just over a week. We had an incredible stay, hosted by the friendliest staff. Food was delicious every breakfast, dinner, and lunch, complimented by the chefs and servers who were very accommodating to celiac/vegan needs of a group member. Drinks were readily available, getting even better by becoming acquainted with the bartenders. Never difficult to find a spot to lay in the sun, and plenty of activities to keep you entertained for your entire stay.

Super location for walking out in town to the Marina where there are many restaurants and shops to browse. Really great location! Even taking a cab to the Malcom is relatively cheap. At no time did I ever feel unsafe. Definitely a 5-Star trip. Can I do it 365 days????!!!!! I’m in love with PV!

Our family stayed here for two weeks. There was plenty of activities around the resort to stay busy. The room was clean everyday. There were a ton of wonderful employees. This is not a fancy resort and there are improvements that can be made but not worth deterring someone from staying here. We left the resort when we wanted a change in scenery or food. There’s plenty of restaurants in walking distance. A taxi to downtown was cheap. The evening entertainment was different than what I’ve seen before so I enjoyed it. Our only negatives were our mole and taco experiences (mostly breakfast) and lack of shady loungers when it got busy (reserved by a towel).

My family and I had the best time, this is our first all inclusive where the food was actually good! We loved eating breakfast at mole every morning. Omar was so great there, very funny guy. Our kids loved him! The pool was fun, there was tons of activities. The beach was nice and warm. Kids club was awesome for the kiddos. Nothing but non stop fun. It was very clean and literally had the nicest staff ever, I mean literal ever! We had a great time. Definitely recommend for a family vacation:)

Ya le hace falta una remodelación a las instalaciones, el cuarto amplio y limpio, la verdad los alimentos malos, muy malos, su variedad de alimentos en le bufete terrible !!, ejemplo, un día era "caribeño" y pusieron en una pequeña zona tacos de guisados, pues toda le gente formada en los tacos y lo demas se quedó, otro día "veracruzano" y casualidad todo se quedó excepto las ensaladas, los postres, carne frias ... y no hay opción de otro bufete. Por el precio RECOMIENDO QUE PRUEBEN OTRO HOTEL MEJOR.

This resort is wonderful for families with lots of child friendly activities. The staff is both friendly and efficient. The resort and rooms are very clean. The SPA service was incredible. The food on the buffet was good. The food in the the Mole and Taco restaurant was good. We did not enjoy the food in the Fish House. The Fish House served our daughter nuts even with the reservation and the staff knowing she had a tree nut allergy, fortunately they were visible and she did not eat them. We asked for a King room but got 2 doubles, they did offer to move us 1/2 through our stay. The bathroom in our room needed renovating with an old stained tub and a broken hand shower.

From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we were met with amazing hospitality. Staff was friendly and willing to help with water we needed. The resort is older and outdated and dining options are slim, but the food at the buffet was good.

We spent a week in the all inclusive Melia. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The staff are incredibly friendly, the fish house was top notch and the buffet cant be beat. We enjoyed how we were tucked away from.the business of the city, yet close to the Marina and a quick cab ride to the Malecon and touristy stuff. Highly recommend the Melia!

Staff were very nice & friendly. Service was slow. Food-especially in the buffet & pool snack bar-was never hot. Barely warm sometimes. Even at ala carte restaurants food was often served cold. Drinks were mediocre-served with concentrate, not real juice. Resort needs updating. Ocean view is amazing! Could be a fabulous place to visit if some changes & upgrades are made.

food was hardly bearable at best, not one thing ever served came out hot?? especially the buffet, but even when fresh made to order (cold pancakes?) drinks were not made with real mixes all drinks no matter what mix you asked for had a fake sugar taste, no real orange juice just tang, which was weird as it was avail in the upgrade restaurant for breakfast, no real cranberry juice, no grapefruit juice, no fresh fruit in any of the drinks just limes, and pool bar looks like its ready to fall apart, huge holes in the concrete pillars and roof looks like its ready to fall down plus dirty. we wanted to leave after just one day but decided to stick it out and just drive into town everyday for our meals. Not the best scenario when you are paying for all inclusive but dining options were either the terrible buffet, a fish house or taco place. this property def needs upgrades throughout very dated. staff were very pleasant and the location and the view from our beachfront room was excellent but due to plumbing issues, food issues, etc., will never go back and would never recommend.

Our check in experience was great from the start, Stephanie had checked us in and helped us get reservations and whatever else we needed for our short stay. Food was an 8/10 The buffet was good, the restaurant was a little bit better. Mole & Tacos was better than the Fish house is our experience. Wish they had more restaurants and more food options for the late night snacks. Overall a great experience for just a 2 night stay, being close by the beach was a plus and the pool was great!

I liked the size of the resort (not too big) and the extremely friendly staff. The food was 😊 good. In addition, the atmosphere was fun and family friendly. There were lots of free activities such as yoga, water aerobics, pool tables, ping pong tables, etc.

It is a great place. If you have children a little kids there was lots of them and they all were enjoying themselves. I have never had better service than Antonio, which is the manager there he heard I had a couple small complaints no big deal to me, but he found me offered to upgrade me. I had trouble got a wheelchair to my room to get my stuff and take it to the room.
