The space

Inside, Miguel's Mirador includes a king bed with luxury bedding, a spacious ensuite bathroom with rainfall shower, and a sitting and dining area facing the ocean. The kitchenette provides everything needed for light meals and morning coffee. High-speed fiber
Wi-Fi (up to 1 Gbps + backup) makes it well-suited for remote workers or streaming. Miguel's Mirador is one of up to four private apartments that make up Villa Amistad. Each apartment has its own private entrance. Guests enjoy full access to the villa’s heated
saltwater pool, two shared terraces, BBQ grill, honor bar, daily housekeeping (Mon–Sat), purified water throughout, and a bilingual digital guidebook with local dining tips, activities, requests for in-house massages, contact information to our concierge service

Parking and drop-offs Guests can drive up to the house to drop off luggage. While parking isn’t allowed in the alley, street parking is available nearby on adjacent streets. Guests and friends have never had an issue with their cars.
The neighborhood

Villa Amistad is located in El Cerro, one of Puerto Vallarta’s original hillside neighborhoods overlooking Banderas Bay. Our small cobblestone alley is home to long-time Mexican families, many single middle-aged to older women, and a few gay men — a close-knit
community where neighbors know each other and look out for one another. It feels authentic, lived-in, and safe. Guests love staying here because they can enjoy the energy of the city, then return to a peaceful, local neighborhood that still feels genuinely
Mexican.
Getting around

The Romantic Zone, Centro, and 5 de Diciembre neighborhoods are all within walking distance—most places are 5–25 minutes away on foot. The hill up to the villa is moderate; guests who prefer not to walk are welcome to use the many Ubers and taxis readily available
and affordable in this area. Local buses run along the main roads below and cost 10 pesos (exact change required). Parking is not allowed on Arroyo del Pedregoso, but free street parking is available on nearby streets.

Simply amazing! We couldn't have been more impressed with Villa Amistad and our host, Mark. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.Our room was impeccably clean and well-equipped. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed, soft towels and bedding, great coffee and the beautiful decor. Coupled with an amazing view, our stay was truly perfect. We can't wait to return!
