Good but could be improved

Going to start off with how amazing this property is. Location was great and the rooms were nice too. Every room has a bathroom which was great as one downstairs. One of the rooms had issues with some lizards so the girls had to stay in other rooms because they kept coming back and couldn’t sleep with lizards crawling on the ceiling. Keep in mind that this place has kind of an open concept so you’ll see some critters. Another thing that got to me, when they said private chef I wish they would say what meals. We wanted to plan our reservations ahead and I asked SEVERAL times how this process worked and couldn’t get an answer. When we checked in we were so hungry and were expecting dinner and we got chips and guac. I also wish we knew we had to pay cash for ingredients. I was thinking we could pay with card or if it was a separate fee to pay on top. Breakfast was great but a heads up would have been appreciated. The ladies at the property were nice too. They cleaned up after us every day.

Really cute house in a great location.

Everything was great once we got to Mexico. The house is open air, but has AC in the rooms. Staff on property are so nice and very helpful and responsive. Location in in the heart of the Zona Romantica and we loved that. Biggest problem is that once you book the house, communication with the property manager is extremely difficult and frustrating. We were trying to put in a request for some groceries and the first meal, and the property manager insisted that the house didn’t serve food. She would not read the listing to see it came with a cook, And she certainly didn’t know it. On another occasion we asked for the address to arrange transportation, and again, very difficult to get a response.I would book this house again but it’s helpful to know Vicasa Property management is terrible, but don’t lose faith in the house. I was really nervous about what we had rented because of all the problems with Vicasa, but it was a great house once we got there. Also Vicasa doesn’t give you any check in info until after 5pm the day before. This is frustrating if you are trying to coordinate with a group of people about how to get in.

FABULOUS Chief & Staff! Better than most restaurants we ate at locally!

Our group of 8 absolutely loved this place! The view is spectacular, we asked specifically for the pool to have the heater on and they had that ready to go. We had a problem with hot water in some of the bathrooms but as soon as we reported it, it was fixed within hours. We can't say enough good things about our Chief Peta and Victor for assisting us with any and everything! The only thing we couldn't give a 10 on would be the beds; they were pretty uncomfortable. Don't stay here if you are unable to walk up and down a lot of stairs. We didn't mind the exercise! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the staff for making our stay fantastic!

Beautiful home on the hill in Zona Romantica!

We couldn't have been happier with this beautiful home on the hill in Zona Romantica! Terrific views, outstanding and friendly staff (including a fabulous chef) and walking distance to restaurants, the Maricon, the beautiful church, etc. (note: steep walk). The open-air, open concept grand room leading to the pool and outdoor palapa was perfect for our group. We would definitely stay there again!
