“Sugar Magnolia is beautiful, immaculate, stylishly decorated with antiques and run with their guests comfort in mind. It's a special environment designed to make you feel welcome and cared for. It's close to downtown venues and the Beltway, and within walking distance to restaurants. I highly recommend a stay there. ”

“Blinds were broken in my room, unable to roll it up or down. Mentioned it to staff- nothing done. 1 elevator was working, so there were long waits and you had to ride with cleaning carts. Parking lot is seperate from the building. An elevator down to "T" and a walk past the pool to another outside building to another elevator- not convenient. Had a better stay with a more hospitable staff at BUCKHEAD LOCATION. Garbage can was overfull during breakfast and the waffle batter on floor was a……

“I had a quiet, peaceful stay. The hotel is beautiful, the room was spacious and clean. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops in the downtown area of Decatur which was also very well maintained and quaint. Overall I had a fabulous stay!”

“The front desk staff are nice and Robert helped me arrange a move-in earlier than 3PM on a third-floor room. The room is very spacious and clean with a blackout curtain, so I got to have a good night sleep. No daily cleaning service but it's okay for me. Breakfast is cereals, milk, coffee and bread. Overall it was a nice experience! Excellent location for visiting Emory. ”

“My heat didn’t work in my room. They didn’t offer me a new room, they brought up a space heater. Unsatisfactory service. I really wanted to enjoy my experience and unfortunately that was not the case.”

“The staff was super-friendly, the beds were comfortable, and we loved hanging out in the courtyard. The only downside, and it’s not something the hotel can control, is the walls and floors are thin so we could easily hear road noises from outside and the people walking around (a lot) in the room above us. While that bothered my husband and daughter, I don’t hear well so that didn’t bother me at all. Overall it was wonderful!”
