Day of arrival, there was no internet. No internet meant no tv. Okay fine. Quiet in room due to no tv and neighbors were loud and disturbing so we got our room moved. No elevators on property so we got moved to the 4th floor and to a smaller and dirty room!! The sheets on bed had holes in them. The lamps were dusty with dirt. There was a puddle of water in the middle of room under the bed because I stepped in it by mistake. When the internet finally started working, I tried making dinner reservations for each day of our stay and only ONE restaurant was available. I asked concierge to help make reservations but he told me it had already closed for the day!! It’s not my fault there was no internet and I couldn’t book earlier! I went to guest services for help and Nicole couldn’t care any less about helping us. Waste of customer service. First night in bed, I woke up around 2:30am to no tv and woke up sweating. Tried to turn on a light and was so irate because there was NO POWER!!! I was literally HOT/MAD because I wanted to take a shower from sweating and there was NO WATER either!! I would’ve taken a cold shower but no water at all. This stayed ruined my husband’s entire birthday and we don’t plan on visiting the island ever again.

Had a lovely time until a gut renovation started in the room below mine, with drilling and jackhammering. I heard these sounds from other buildings too. Ridiculous that this work isn’t done in the off-season, or at least when the adjacent rooms are unoccupied.

Garden view was actually a construction view. Nothing like waking up to the noise of drills and hammers. More employees constantly trying to up sale TOURs than provide service with a smile. Oh if you can not secure a reservation a to one of their handful of mediocre restaurants your left scramming. If you do secure a reservation (Yaimeishi Japanese) you will be required to sit with other strangers or in my case walk out. Only fabulous thing was the beach but you might want to reconsider and look at other options OR temper your expectations. Good luck…

Impressive is not a bad resort , what made it so horrible for me it was my encounter with upfront customer service. I would hoped they do at some point improves on that dept . What made it special the rest of the trip ,to us it was the people that work within for impressive that we met along the way . First Rainer ( maletero) from picking us up to bring us to our room made the bad experience from front desk so much better for us . A few amazing staff members from the Buffet, Esperanza, Martha, the juice bar lady and some of the cook line folks -Thank You for treating us like family ! Great entertaining group ! Thx for spaghetti for taking the time to get to know you better . Keep up that spirit . Beautiful Beach view , and it was clean the whole time we were there !
