Facing the Caribbean Sea in Belize's authentic and relaxed south, staying at our sea-facing Sunrise suite perched atop the highest land in the country will give you time to pause and exhale.

We provide you with space, both inside the suite and on the adjoining patio, where you can set up a hammock and swing while listening to birdsong or catching up on that book you set aside so long ago. Just want to cocoon or work? Staying in Sunrise enables you to take that needed break or work tranquilly using our high speed internet.

Want to explore Punta Gorda and it's central markets, or the nearby shallow sea? Ride off with one of our bicycles or paddle board over the seagrass and sand looking for tropical fish. Wondering where to eat? You can cook in the fully outfitted kitchenette, order in or eat out at several of Punta Gorda's restaurants. We have you covered for breakfast, where we bring a yummy breakfast to your suite every morning.

Great host, breakfast, location, property, but missing screens?

Florette was wonderful and the breakfast that was included was fantastic. Loved my comfortable room that has everything I needed, including hot plate, microwave and fridge. You can walk to the center of town where everything is, along the waterfront in 10 minutes. I took the ferry to Guatemala one day. There's no air conditioning (typical in Belize), but this isn't a problem since you're right on the ocean and there are plenty of fans. What was a problem is there were no screens on two windows, and the traditional windows are venetian-style slats, so they don't seal. I was covered with mosquito bites every morning. This in a country where Dengue is an issue. It's a wonderful place, just confirm the room you're in has screens on ALL the windows.
