If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not it. If you are looking for local culture, wonderful people and location then you will have a wonderful time. The bar next door was noisy, which we knew and were warned about but we didn’t mind. We would go back! ”

“Highly recommend! Hotels closer to the reef might not be as luxurious and comfortable; Hotels more luxurious won't be has as much marine life or as good for snorkel. This is def the best of both. Room as clean and beautiful as the photos show. We saw more varieties of fish snorkeling around the dock than going out for a snorkel tour. The Hol Chan marine reserve had better spot for snorkeling than the one near the island, so you can take tours somewhere else and just enjoy your time around the……

“Beautiful boutique experience with spacious, clean rooms, wonderful staff, a delicious hot breakfast to order, a great bartender and lovely pool and beach. We did not take advantage of all of the amenities, but they also have an outdoor yoga studio, paddle boards and kayaks. On a personal note, we were unable to get to our intended destination and had to book Kalimera last minute and they immediately turned a bad day into everything we had hoped for during our last days in Belize.
