「Loved this hotel & property. The rooms are so nice, the views of the beach & estuary breathtaking, the restaurant food is delicious. The staff is very professional and you can instantly see this hotel pays attention to the smallest detail. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding and the floors mopped. 「Property was okay, room was clean but definitely need to update the sheets and comforters (all were stained) The lady at front desk was not friendly or helpful at all. Food at restaurant was delicious! 」

「We enjoyed the deck at El Refugio. The beds were also comfortable. Nice location and view of Ensenada. 4 stars on cleanliness because there were a few really dirty spots (top of glass over stove and top of fridge) where a simple damp sponge would have done wonders. Hot water appliance also failed and was tricky to get hot water. But we were able to contact on-site person and owner and everything resolved to our satisfaction (I was able to take a hot shower).
